Hello Northshore Peeps!
I don’t typically do these posts (usually Jess) but bear with me and I’ll explain.
If you have been contacting us for quotes or have received calls with the schedule changing we want to apologize for any delays or schedule changes. we work very hard to not have these happen but unfortunately things unfortunate happen.
With that being said our youngest daughter had an accident a couple days ago that resulted in a hospital visit that resulted some things that have really impacted her, her family and if you know how close the team is all those who I get the privilege to work with everyday. She is "fine" but wont go into too much detail right now.
Northshore is still rolling and on the most part we have been able to avoid as little delays as we can just have some grace and patience with us. Continue to call and book quotes and we will continue to fulfill them.
The Northshore boys! The best crew in all of barrie has stepped up to make sure we are still rocking the tree work and leaving you with the Northshore service you all know best.
So continue to reach out we appreciate your patience and grace during this time. If you are wondering how u can help we just ask you to pray for healing and rest for our youngest girl and the rest of the family.

Stump grinding is a service we offer mainly for convenience - it’s not the most exciting thing in the world to do, but it saves our clients the hassle of going elsewhere for a small thing that in some cases really just adds the finishing touches needed after a removal - or in some cases, preps an area for a new project! We love trees day #4! Planting is vital for our city, and it’s something we love to do, but it needs to be done right. Planting a tree improperly is like pouring your time and money down the drain - and unfortunately we see it all the time. If you’d like it done the right way, we offer planting as a service but we also have instructional videos and written instructions on our website if you’re looking for a spring DIY project 😊. Johnny will also be giving a short presentation at the Spring Garden & Home show this March on this very subject!

We love trees day #3! Similar to pruning, cabling is something that can be done to help a tree last - so if there’s a tree you love that’s hurt or damaged, it doesn’t have to be a death sentence. Call us today to check it out!

Pruning is something we do for various reasons - for improving tree health; for safety near surrounding buildings, structures, or wires; or to achieve a certain goal aesthetically like reducing shade or clearing sight lines. Whatever the reason, consulting with a knowledgeable and educated arborist is the best way to ensure any trimming done is helping and not hurting your tree.

We love trees day #1! Hard to believe but yes, removal can be beneficial OVERALL - obviously not for the tree being removed, but for the surrounding environment. But how do you know if a tree needs to be removed? Sometimes if obvious, but often times trees just need a little attention and care. If you’re looking for an honest opinion, give us a call! Our ISA certified arborists will never recommend removing a tree if it’s not necessary, because we love them!
