Our Baby Music classes are more than just a music class. 💛🎶 Research tells us that babies who participate in active music classes that include movement and dancing show improved communication and social development. 💞

Good morning Kindermusik families! 🌤❤️

We are blessed to have babies of all ages and developmental levels in our class, and yet they all learn to manipulate objects in Kindermusik class. 👐

Whether it be working on eye tracking and grip for our younger babies, reaching, teething, and shaking for babies a little older, or independent play, hand-eye coordination and mimicking what we do for babies around a year old, they are all learning and building neuropathways in the brain, needed for the rest of their lives! 🧠

Join me for a time of music, movement, and joy at 11:30am while we continue on our Beach Days adventure in the gardens of Sunnidale Park, Barrie! 🎶🌻🌺🌳

Your babies will love exploring rhythm and melodies in the great outdoors.

We will be engaging in some delightful water play, so feel free to bring a towel or a change of clothing for them. 💦

Good morning Kindermusik families! 🌤

There are so many benefits to each and every activity in class! One of the most wonderful to witness, is our babies discovering the cause and effect of what they do when holding an instrument or prop. 👶👀

Not only are we creating new neuropathways in the brain 🧠 but they get a "reward" for each action they take.🏆

When they move their hand while holding a bell, they hear it ring. 🔔 When they touch the wind chimes, they hear them sound.👂When we repeat activities that build anticipation (like in a lap bounce) they learn to react to an aural cue. 🤭

These rewards trigger the pleasure centre in the brain, and also contribute to developing a healthy self-esteem, when they realize just how powerful they are making beautiful music! 💪🎶🥳

Join us at 11:30am today in the gardens of Sunnidale Park for more “Beach Days” fun! We will enjoy a little water play 💦 towards the end of class, so feel free to bring a towel and change of clothing. Alternatively you can use the receiving blankets we have to dry their hands and feet. 👐
