Popcorn ceiling to flat ceiling.
This was a bit tricky as the house was built in the early 70's which meant there was a possibility of asbestos in the popcorn.

Three options:
1) get ceiling tested, wait for results and move forward.
2) laminate new drywall over top of existing ceiling
3)remove ceiling and replace and hope for the best.
4) cover existing popcorn with a plaster coating.

The homeowners decided to go with option 4. Here we see the result before a coat of primer and a sealer coat is applied.
