With plenty of snow on the ground, the Dexter Snow Operations team will be out in full force. Here are a few tips to make the roads as safe as possible:

1. Never travel beside a snowplow for extended periods of time.
2. It is safer to stay behind a snowplow rather than attempting to pass it.
3. Snowplows can create a cloud of snow that can reduce visibility.
4. Always maintain a safe distance from plows that are actively clearing the road.
