The Kidney Foundation of Canada - Nova Scotia, Bedford, NS Videos

Videos by The Kidney Foundation of Canada - Nova Scotia in Bedford. The Kidney Foundation of Canada is committed to patient services, public education, organ donation aw

This year marks our 60th Anniversary and in honour of that we recently kicked off our '60 for 60 Campaign'. In partnership with our amazing Atlantic Board we have challenged ourselves to find 60 donors to donate $1000 each to help us raise $60,000 before the end of the year.

We are thrilled to share that our first donor duo is none other than our President of the Board, Cindy and her her husband Mike. When asked why they decided to make this generous donation, Mike said " it's important for me to contribute to the 60 for 60 campaign because people I love are affected by kidney disease. It's that simple."

For Cindy, "it's not only that people I love are impacted, but also because more support is needed for the 1 in 10 Canadians currently impacted by Kidney disease, and more research is needed to find answers that will impact all those yet to be diagnosed."

Thank you to both Cindy and Mike for their generosity.

Keep an eye out for more '60 for 60' gratitude posts to come...

If you would like to like to become a donor and support us in reaching our goal, please reach out to Kimberley Auciello @ 902-200-8539 or [email protected]
