I woke up this morning with these words on my mind and although I deleted this video as soon as I created it, I felt guided to restore and share it anyways. We all know this woman🙏 We all need to remember that in order to care for others, we need to care for ourselves first, not out of selfishness but out of self preservation. Our bodies, our minds, our souls, our hearts can only take so much pressure until we blow a gasket! I have experienced so many cancellations for self care over this past month with clients as ‘something else came up’ I find as women we have been conditioned to put ourselves last which is why I feel there is so much anxiety, depression and illness in this world today. I am creating a program to help others be accountable for their health, happiness, passion and purpose. It’s ok to have dreams that are yours. When we show hope and excitement within ourselves, we trickle this out into the world. I was constantly posting sarcastic memes on social media with reference to quitting my job and life in general. Humour and sarcasm, oh and let’s not forget alcohol…was my escape cocktail of choice because it was easier to mask my feelings than admit to my friends and family that I felt like I was going crazy and spiralling faster and faster into this deep dark abyss of losing myself. The universe listened, but apparently I wasn’t getting the signs and continued to do what was expected of me with a forced smile on my face. I felt guilt - guilt for feeling ungrateful and wanting more than I already had…although what I was searching and yearning for was nothing material but a feeling deep inside that I had purpose and was meant for something greater than this robotic life I was living. I felt as if I wasn’t me, and was just following instructions, day in, day out…until my world came crashing down…or should I say , I came crashing down, literally - after a night of way too much drinking, I fell and suffered a serious concussion. Fast forward a few months and many lingering symptoms later, such as headaches, insomnia, irritability and memory issues …I discovered an amazing tool! This tool was the key to my healing and without even realizing it, an entire transformation of my life, how I live, love and work. My job became meaningful, life as I was living it bec
