🌿 This is a difficult post for me to write. After 16 incredible years of crafting beautiful bath and body products, the time has come for me to hang up the stick blender. This decision has been immensely emotional, filled with tears, indecisiveness and gratitude.

I am so thankful for the journey, starting from my humble beginnings in my laundry room making 10 bar batches, to operating a dedicated in-home studio with two employees, producing larger batches, which totalled over 30,000 thousand bars a year for wholesale, private label and retail clients under several recognized brands.

Our products have reached homes worldwide, from Canada to the US, Antigua, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago. We have formulated blends for private label clients, including soaps, deodorants, scrubs, body oils, you name it we were more than happy to put pen to paper and formulate a recipe.

I am also proud to say that we have raised thousands of dollars for various animal rescues and wildlife centres from the sale of our end cuts.

As I transition, I will be using up the remainder of our raw materials and selling what we can’t use. Letting go of my beloved tools of the trade will come in time, but for now, I am taking baby steps as I process this decision. I have been known to change my mind 😅, but for now this feels best.

🍃 After 16 years of creating soap and other bath and body delights, we find ourselves at a crossroads. From humble beginnings making 10 bar batches of soap in my laundry room, we have grown to producing 8,000 bars a month for private label and wholesale clients in our custom studio. From just me, to me and two other employees, it has been a true labour of love these past years.

We are incredibly grateful for the support of our followers and customers over the years which is why we are reaching out now. We are considering what direction to take and would love your thoughts/suggestions.

This has been a decision I have been contemplating for a very long time, and I am unsure what path to choose. I may seek a partner to complement the side of the business I need help with, or I may close it all down.

Just sometimes, the Universe puts people in our path that we were meant to meet. Today, that happened. I met a beautiful soul who cherishes Gods creatures as much as I do. She has supported a rescue that I too supported, she loves and has raised raccoons as I have (once), and supports dog rescue. We have lots in common, including being makers of bath and body goodies. She is Mud+Otis and she gifted me these beautiful pieces of her work ❤️

Our Three Wise Men bar, scented with Frankincense and Myrrh, is powdery, resinous and reminiscent of the holiday season. This bar sells fast and we have limited quantities. We are making a list (and checking it twice 😅) get yours before they are gone!

Restock! Our oatmeal bar is back - ready in 4 weeks. It has a rich, soothing lather that is perfect for dry skin. Unscented. Made with colloidal oatmeal to soften and soothe.

Friends, Mally’s Third Chance Rescue, one of Ontario’s largest, species specific wildlife rehabilitation centres, desperately needs our help. As you may or may not know, rescued and rehabilitated raccoons were recently unjustly seized by the MNRF and face mass euthanization. To assist with their current and ongoing legal costs to save these raccoons lives, we are once again offering our end cuts for sale with 100% going to Mally’s. Studio pick up.
