My journey into discovery with my relationship with our earth & myself. "Greatness, diligence to create One of a Kind works. Staying hopeful in Life."
This is my aspiration, dedication, and life-affirming nature of my craft.
As a member of the Kitchener Waterloo Bonsai Society. I would love to share that we will be having our 2024 Annual Fall Show & Sale
Today is all about Recovery and Rediscovery. The next few weeks before the bonsai show, I'll be busy creating. And awesome friends visiting tomorrow. So today is all about me.
I'm dedicating this day to reminding myself of the things I love. Starting my day doing Qi Gong Thai Chi. Then with a peaceful morning coffee with my dear Merlin and Esme at my feet. Of course, I'm sipping from a handmade mug, by yours truly. . Flew my drone around the water. And planned my day. I'll be posting my day as it unravels.
It's the little things that bring the most joy. Today I'm going to rediscover some of that. Life is too short.
Three days of making this little thing.... every piece has a story.

There's something truly magical about transforming a lump of clay into a beautiful piece of art. It's weird to watch myself on video on the wheel, shaping and molding a vase. The process is meditative and exhilarating, requiring patience, precision, and a deep connection with the your hands to the clay.
Every pressure, every touch of my hands brings this creation closer to its final form. In a world that's always rushing, pottery reminds me to slow down, to find joy in the process and to appreciate the journey as much as the destination.

Almost seems like a lifetime ago, my career as a hairdresser. As I go through pictures, I realize I’ve know some of you for decades. Watching kids grow up. From sitting on booster chairs, to your careers and relationships to your children. I even been with you through 3-4 family generations.

The guy was fishing. David was watching him from inside the house. I need to go to the water edge to get a better look
Here are more orchid pots I created. These are imbued with 11% real gold (22k look)
Of course. Hand painted by me.
