Three Pines - Official Trailer | Prime Video In this town, everything is connected. Unravel the mysteries and dark secrets of Three Pines, starring Alfred Molina, and coming to Prime Video December 2.» ...
Three Pines tv series on Netflix is very interesting..
French touches in English episode..
Love the intrigue..
So much fun last night at the beautiful Rialto Theatre in Montreal, where Prime Video Canada and Left Bank "launched" the Three Pines series. The series itself doesn't hit TV until Dec 2nd, this was really a party - to thank and celebrate the cast and crew...and to show them the first episode. Then a few of us did a short panel discussion. Here we are, from left to right: Brent Haynes from Prime Video Canada, Alfred Molina (Gamache), Rossif Sutherland (Beauvoir), Elle-Maija Tailfeathers (Lacoste), Emilia di Girolamo (head writer), and Louise somebody, not sure what she did...
What an experience!
Love this reframing..
I just finished having a lovely conversation with Eliana founder and Board Member of Concussion Box..
I am always curious to discover what is available for us who have sustained a concussion..
It doesn’t matter if I have been in this reinventing process for 10 years I believe learning more about this invisible Injury is still important..
My reality is very different now and I feel I can offer something different to those who are interested in learning from someone who has been healing and recovering for many years.
Mentoring, being an Traumatic Brain Injury Advocate and a Transformational Speaker are ways I can be of service to others who are in need of support, comfort and encouragements.
You may wonder what is Concussion Box?
Concussion Box is a platform for people recovering from a concussion and those who are assisting them can find a community.
Concussion Box provides
✨Stories from concussion patients
✨Brainstorming guides from medical professionals
✨Stories from family and friends
✨Communal Music Playlist
✨Book Reading
They even launch a care package initiative to bring comfort and support opportunities to concussion patients..
*Submit your concussion story and you maybe eligible to receive a care package. See details on their website.
Healing doesn’t have to happen alone being part of a community is important and inspiring..
I love the creative way Concussion Box support concussion patients and their loved ones..
A fabulous initiative..
Have a look at their platform and spread the word with people who can benefit from reading and listening to their messages.
Oh I love this ..
Today Tuesday October 11th at 1:30 PM EST I will be hosting an in person gathering in Oakville for people whose lives have been affected by a Traumatic Brain Injury.
This is our second in person gathering since the world started to opening up again and I am really looking forward to seeing everyone.
Come as you are..
Some of us may experience physical discomfort, emotional distress or cognitive impairments..
There’s no judgment, no pressure to be different..
We often don’t need words, we feel and see the invisible, the unspoken reality. We have been there and we are still there at time.. We recognize in each other a part of us.
Inclusiveness, interconnectedness..
In this safe place, participants share their experiences, their challenges, they ask questions and share their wins.. There’s always wins to celebrate!
Please send me a PM if you want to join us today. I will let you know where we are going to gather.
If you know someone who can benefit from attending our in person gathering please feel free to share with them..
There is no one way to live this glorious life!
There’s many, many ways..
We are creating this beautiful new life one day at time, moment by moment.
Impermanence..
Letting go..
Allowing..
Listening..

Traumatic Brain Injury Awareness
Chocking isn’t it ? This statistic is not only hard to believe it’s also very disturbing..
Even though domestic violence + TBI isn’t my expertise I am using my platform to highlight this topic.
There is so much to discuss, to explore when I think
about this invisible Injury.
My heart goes to the domestic violence survivors who are affected by a TBI due to the aggression, violence and hostility they faced.
Awareness, Education and Action Steps are in need.
So so so many things need to change about Traumatic Brain Injury Awareness & Education in the world, in the workplace, in school, in our community.
We need voices, people with lived experiences , professional athletes, veterans and many others who are ready to stand up to tell their realities~ not the one embellished by some athletes. They’re are a large number of people who are silently suffering and embarrassed by their situations..
It concerns me, it concerns you and it concerns everyone else as we are all interconnected..
Please help me in sharing this post ..
Dreaming of a better life.. That was my fantasy after I had a Traumatic Brain Injury.. Without this aspirating craving for changes and betterment I will have give up totally .. so many times..
YES to definitely dreaming and taking actions..
Minuscule actions, small ones, big actions~ it doesn’t really matter.
As I learned in my recovery journey in order to move closer to my dreams I had to learned to tango with moving forward and falling backward and repeating it again and again and again..
Every day offers a new opportunity to do something to move forward..
I also gave myself permission to idle for a while.. contemplating life, reflecting and resting..
Every day was an opportunity to become a little more the person I was looking to be..
Everyday is full of possibilities, magic and serendipity ..
Loving myself and loving life passionately are what nourish me to do a little something different..
Until one day I am there..
Looking at my dream with my two green eyes and a big smile on my face..
Holding my dreams between my hand..
I invite you to read this caption a few times and let me know how you feel after it sinks into your body..
Someone out there feels better because you exist..
Isn’t it spectacular, extraordinary and exciting?
When someone notice ..
Your smile
Your energy
Your uniqueness
Your kindness
Your loving attentions
Your encouraging words
Your graciousness
Some of these and many other things are what people see in you and appreciate about you..
Most of us undervalue some of our greatest traits, we go about our day underestimating our contributions just for BEING US…
Everywhere you go, you leave behind you something..
Something someone out there feels better because you exist..
Silently they notice this little something . They look at you, wondering how did you become who you are..
That my lovely is your magic..
I am seating outside on my balcony hoping the sunshine can help my body to capture enough zests of life to lift the virus effects I have been feeling since a few days now.
Flu season is here and this unexpected visitor may have find an entrance in my body..
Resting, slowing down, eating minimally and drinking a lot of liquid are part of the self-care practices I am following.
The last two days I have been enjoying and discovering the work of Meera Lee Patel a self-taught artist and author.
Her book My Friend Fear
Finding Magic in the Unknown offers a road map to understanding, accepting and how using your fears to follow your dreams can be true as well as how to navigate Life when fear become your friend as opposed as being perceived as your enemy.
Her colorful illustrations, her guidance and personal experiences are offering us a different perspective about fear.
I could personally relate to many of her insights.
After having a Traumatic Brain Injury fear of all kinds paralyzed me and slowed me down from time to time. Not for ever though.
My desire to progress, to improve and create something beautifully different brought me to find ways to help me to move forward despite having fear by my side..
As the author said “Fear invites the impossible to happen “.
So true.
Her message is a great invitation to bring us to revisit some of our updates believes, ideas, paradigms about fear.
I am so grateful for deepening my understanding of this most basic human emotion.
I highly recommend this book to you or anyone who can use it to explore this primal powerful emotion who is programmed into our nervous system.
Ready to find out how fear can become your friend?
I am always open to receiving new aphorisms that suddenly find it’s way to me..
This one by Marcel Proust French writer in the early 20th century captures my heart..
His poetic message is simple and powerful..
Love is space and time measured by the heart.
Reflection- Don’t let anyone dictate what you can or can’t do after having a TBI~ a least this is my sincere opinion..
The other day I had a conversation with someone who is affected by a Traumatic Brain Injury and despite a few years in recovery his progress has been slow and unstable..
I understand very well how he may feel ~impatient, frustrated, hopeless and tired..
I was too AND at the same time I was also stubbornly holding a vision of myself in great health and wellness.
Over my long and sinuous recovery process I kept investing ~ investing time, investing energy and investing financial resources in my rehabilitation…
I kept my green eyes on my aim and I dismissed or ignored the words spoken by well intended people/healthcare specialist who had their own perspectives.
YOU ARE THE EXPERT OF YOU..
The limiting believes of well intend people and professionals didn’t influenced me.
I am so happy I kept moving on my own journey ..
Now 10 years post-concussion I am without a doubt in the best place I have ever been..
I made tremendous advancements in 2019-2020 and it has continued since then..
So next time someone give you their 2 cents , I invite you to PAUSE..
Ask yourself:
Am I letting someone else dictate what I can or can’t do?
Your can color outside the line in your reinventing journey.
I am here if you need an encourager, a mentor or simply want to know how I did it..
I invite you to define your vision and fiercely & tenderly hold on to it.
