Glass & Jewellery artist
Today was my last torching session before I take a summer break (because honestly, it’s too hot to torch in the summer) I had a super productive day and I’m officially ready for my upcoming shows!
Also, a gold star to anyone who can guess what I was making! ⭐️
Apples, apples everywhere! 🍎
An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but a glass apple necklace in June will have your favourite teacher singing a happy tune 🎶
Hey Winnipeg friends! The Winnipeg Art Gallery shop is officially stocked up on glass gummy bear necklaces and jelly bean earrings!
A little bushel of apple necklaces has just arrived at the Art Gallery of Peterborough! If you are in the Peterborough area and looking for the perfect teacher gift, the AGP has got you covered! ❤️🍎
New Stockist Alert! If you are in the beautiful Lake of Bays area this summer you will want to make sure you visit Oxtongue Craft Cabin & Gallery in Dwight, ON! They have a nice little selection of my work and they open for the season May 18th ❤️
I’m the happiest I’ve been in weeks and all it took was a little fire 🔥 A massive thank you to and for inviting me into your studio space. I cannot wait until it’s fully set up and you can really show it off! Bonus perks of this new space include: an adorable toddler, a cat named Buddy, and a hammock.
We really should be celebrating amazing teachers everyday, but let’s give them a little extra hurrah for ❤️
Someone else wanted one of these and it made me giggle just as much. This one is larger and has more of a curve 😂 if you want me to make you one too, send me a message, I would be happy to make more of these silly things
Some small business real talk: I haven’t really felt like posting that much on social media over the last year. I do feel that I need to make a more concerted effort because it does actually help my business… but good lord does it feel like a slog right now. I know that part of this for me is the fact that my day job requires me to pump out content so then I have absolutely no motivation to create my own. But mostly, my life has been a bit of a disaster for a while now and I have been in a state of surviving not thriving. I am basically just going through the motions in order to get through the bare minimum of my day. Thank goodness for the added daylight these days, I really think that will help things turn a corner. Anyway, thanks to everyone who has stuck around for my glass adventures over the years. You are the best ❤️
This little octopus took entirely too long to make, but look at how freaking cute it is! 🐙
Happy National Jelly Bean Day! ❤️💛💚💙
If you are in Lakefield, you absolutely must check out my newest stockist Divine Craft!
I completely missed the opportunity to post this yesterday! This is a memorial piece I did with the ashes of a client’s grandparents. I am incredibly proud of how the earth and moon turned out in this piece 🌕🌎❤️
Hoppy Easter! 🐣🐰
I hope everyone has an egg-cellent long weekend 🥚🐰
I was able to salvage some of the earrings from the kiln disaster, and also put together some pairs from others I had lying around.
$20 for local pick up (Burlington)
$30 if you need them shipped.

Yep, definitely crushed it yesterday. I feel like there is a cruel irony in my last studio day being the first day of daylight savings where I lose an hour 😂
While I still kind of hate earrings, I absolutely crushed it at the torch today. I have to rally for one more day tomorrow, but my to do list is almost complete!
This is what a 4 hour pile of garbage looks like. So much wasted glass, time, and silver ($15 worth). I am beyond not in the mood to rally next weekend to get stuff finished. I also hate making earrings and I might stop making them entirely. Who knows. Right now I hate this and I want to quit.
The frustrated work space of a person who just wasted the last 4 hours of her life because the kiln decided to melt/fuse/ruin practically everything she made.
This is made 1000 times more frustrating and upsetting by the fact that next weekend is my last weekend at the torch before I lose my studio space. I have always figured out a way to keep making glass but I have been feeling a bit different this time around. Overall, I don’t want to give up on my business (even though, today, glass can go all the way to hell), but I’m finding it harder to keep fighting for it.
I made A LOT of stuff at the torch yesterday! 🔥
Cotton candy is on the menu today! 🩷🩵💜
Things are getting spicy with these custom chili pepper earrings! 🌶️🔥
I giggled the entire time I made this 🍆
I take pride in making sure that all aspects of my glass pendants are top-notch! Whether it’s the work I do at the torch, or putting the finishing touches on a piece my meticulously wire wrapping them. I hope the love and care that I put into the entire process is evident in all of my pieces ❤️🍎
A batch of gummy worms ready for an acid bath! 🛁❤️
I have had this idea swirling around in my head for a while now, so I finally made myself a rocket pop necklace! I’m kind of obsessed with it and considering making a few more. What do you think? ❤️🤍🩵
This is the only proof I have that I torched today 😂 just like last weekend was all about green, today was filled with red! ❤️
This custom green and teal sour key is heading to Oregon today!
