Last weekend, The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair wrapped up our 2023 show season. Couldn’t be happier with how these 4 horses performed for us throughout the summer and fall. It was an overall successful year for us, a success that couldn’t be possible without the help of many!

Willow Way Quintessential K (Towerview Sunflower x Willow Way Kelso) standing at the top of her class this past weekend at the Triple Crown Draft Classic.
Su was Champion Mare and Best of Breed at Norfolk County Fair, Senior Champion & Reserve Grand Champion Mare at Rockton.
A sweet ending to a successful show career that started in Alberta, before coming back home to Ontario last year.

It’s not all about the ribbons or prize money, it’s about moments like these. 3rd and 5th generation showman prepping for the the small-fry showmanship. These memories will last a lifetime.

The horses arrived home from the 2023 World Clydesdale Show. Our 2 year old filly Towerview Regan and 3 year old Stallion Willow Way Ultima both received a 🥉 in their class.
Special thanks to the Willow Way Clydesdales crew for all their help and hospitality, Steve Robertson and Russell Baird for trucking them to and from safely, the committee for putting together a wonderful show and Michelle Martin Randolph for the 📸.
It was a week filled with laughter, good company and was nice putting many faces to names.

Little Su, AKA Willow Way Quintessential K is settling nicely in Ontario.
A daughter of Towerview Sunflower and Willow Way Kelso and granddaughter of Towerview Ainsley Supreme, the first mare to dawn the Towerview prefix and a mare I have so many fond memories of growing up.
We had eyes on this mare since birth and 7 years later it’s nice to have her home and join the herd.

Denali is also entered in the 40k futurity at the upcoming World Clydesdale Show in Brandon, Manitoba (entries close May 5)

We’re happy with how these three performed for us this previous year.
It’s always an added bonus to get recognized in the All Canadian Contest amongst some of the best. This year our 2 year old stallion Willow Way Ultima was named All Canadian and our yearling filly Towerview Regan finished 3rd in their respective classes.

A nice moment captured by Courtney Williams Photography at the Triple Crown Draft Classic. Pictured here is a 4th and 5th generation Clydesdale enthusiast. This is what the peewee showmanship is all about passing the lead shank onto the next up and coming generation.

Stopped on this photo while doing some edits for the Triple Crown Draft Classic because it brought me right back to the show ring!
I was giggling in the ring this day during the youth halter classes, this Clyde must have pushed this young man's hat down over his eyes 4-5 times and he just kept adjusting and presenting his horse like a champ!!

As the photographer, I love me some big action and high energy shots, but during the youth classes especially I love getting these magic moments and I love the memories that are created for everyone!!
I do my best to stay "hidden" and out of people's way so I can do my thing.. and a lot of my, and my clients, favorites are the candids when they thought no one was looking!

Rockton’s World Fair has been our family’s thanksgiving tradition for many years. Our highlight today was our yearling filly Towerview Regan taking first place in a strong class of yearlings, and then Reserve Jr. champion.

Towerview Judy delivered us our third and final foal of this year. This attractive c**t sired by Willow Way Regal, got outside for the first time to enjoy this beautiful June day.

Showing horses on Thanksgiving Monday has been a family tradition for many years. Yesterday we were extra thankful for our yearling filly Towerview Denali (Towerview Judy x Willow Way Lennox) taking 1st 🥇 place in her class at the Norfolk County Fair, then being named the Best of Breed. This was Denali’s fourth show this year and fourth Grand Champion title.
That completes our shows for this year, it was nice to catch up with family and friends, hope to see you all next year, if not sooner!

Decided to take a quick picture of Towerview Blue Print before we dropped him off for quarantine. After his 30 day quarantine he will then get on a plane ✈️ and head to his new home at Lille Valley’s Clydesdales in Thalmässing, Germany 🇩🇪. Best of Luck to Lily Weiss and hopefully next year we can watch him compete as a 2 year old at the 2022 World Clydesdale Show in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.
