🚀🚀Longtime friend and co-stage gracer of performances past, Alyag joins us once again with a very special, ALL ORIGINAL, 75 minute live PA extravabaganza!!🚀🚀

👉 An eclectic amalgamation of electro-psy-funk-neuro-disco-DnB-trance-metal, “Alyag” is the self-produced sonic brainchild of multi-instrumentalist and longtime tune-tinkerer Alexandre Popravko. Eccentrically experimentative, Alexandre strives to draw upon his extensive palette of musical influences (from melodeath metal, to psytrance, drum n’ bass, glitch hop, neuro funk, IDM, synthwave, and more), exploring the favorite elements of each that make one groove and wiggle their boot, as it were. From melodic and heavy to dainty and light-hearted, each resulting track is a unique fusion of varied genres and styles that converge together into a dynamically evolving soundscape journey, sparking the listener’s imagination and encouraging them to formulate their own tale to the tune.

On stage, Alyag is an even farther reaching extension of that eclectic energy, blending all original music into a cohesive, ever-flowing electronic mix while he deftly switches between live guitars, synthesizers, and drum samplers amid a furious whirlwind of emotes. Each set is uniquely arranged, featuring extensive remixes of his existing work coupled with unreleased material and new transitions – often entire musical sections not heard anywhere else – tailored specifically toward that individual performance.

🚀 EVENT FAQ 🚀

👉 We've been receiving some amazing feedback and questions regarding the current pandemic climate and our statement on the event page regarding our chosen protocols about COVID-19.

😷 While masks are not currently mandatory in AB, we HIGHLY recommend that masks be worn if at all possible. While we completely understand that the venue does get hot and sweaty with a lot of flailing and that masks can be uncomfortable in this kind of environment, we would still like to encourage everyone to strive to keep each other safe so that we can continue to enjoy live music as much as possible.

We will also be issuing a choice of two colours of wristbands at the door, which will allow you to communicate non-verbally whether or not you are open to being approached or touched during the event. While we expect the show to be crowded and understand that some amount of bumping into each other is to be expected, we wanted to give the opportunity to allow this form of non-verbal communication to try and make the night go a bit more smoothly for some. Please be aware of the wristbands and respect the space of your fellow flailers. Red wristbands mean "please give me space," and yellow means "hugs all day".

✨The balcony level will also be open for extra space, please try and save this area for those who would like to have a little more personal room if possible! ✨

⚡Considering the current pandemic climate locally, and the fact that we can confirm that there will be higher risk individuals present at the event, we will be taking temperatures via laser gun at the door *pewpew*. Anyone who temps higher than 38°C will be turned away. However, should this be the case, you will have your ticket -fully- refunded. If you end up feeling ill in the days leading up to the event, please don't hesitate to message us! We will personally help you attempt to find a new home for your ticket.

We are taking these steps in order to protect both our community and also our very own parents-to-be, who will be repping both mask and no-touchy wristband for the night.
