Videos by Trevor & Lanchi Dech in Calgary. We kind of like this thing called riding... kind of... kind of alot.

Who remembers Push Steering? Or who does not want to remember push steering haha ;)

This is a true defining moment in becoming a rider, the crossroads I call it.

This year was going to be a two part training exercise. First part. Playing with it in the cones on a riders third day of training. Second part will be on the road ride.

I find when I ride 90% of the time I am just making little inputs (pushes or presses)on the bars in the direction I would like my motorcycle to go. Of course in more substantial curves I want to move my body and turn my chest and do some of the leaning for the bike. That lessons the motorcycles lean angle keeping it safer for us. More down force.

Unlike in low speed turns where we would counter balance (FRC) to help the bike lean then turn. But that’s just for slow turns.

So next time when you ride. Relax your wrists and use little bits of pressure on your bars and have some fun controlling that motorcycle.

Please ride very cautious now. There is a lot of distracted drivers out there because of what’s going on. So knowing this skill will give you a few more dollars to pay even more attention.

I am going to loan everyone a few cents to add to your ten dollars of attention until this pandemic is under control. Please please please be safe.

Look right push/press right
Look left push/press left

Keep saying it over and over. You can even practice walking around your home like I do sometimes. It’s just fun. Drivers have no idea what we are doing hahaha

Have a wonderful day everyone.
