The library wall is complete and it looks fantastic. From a very simple sketch and a ton of inspiration photos this project was a lot of fun.

After several weeks, sometimes months of "Throw and Go" wrap ups, sometimes you just need to take a day or two to reorganize.
The pay sucks but sure is worth it! 😉

This is what water Damage can do to your home! What started out as a simple repair turned into a lengthy renovation.
Rebuilding the floor, walls, ceiling and trusses. Then moving on to siding, soffit and skirting. Then back inside to finish off with a new sub floor, drywall and some cabinet work.

Fixed up and 200% better.
Some stain and some stone to finish these off and it will be good as new. Maybe even a little bit better. 😉

R.I.P. - SHRUB .... The only casualty in the demo process.

Yes it did, until you look close and see the signs of possible problems.
Customer contacted me and said there may be a problem with their deck.
They were right! And not to be over dramatic but this was a drop everything, reschedule everything emergency.
The only thing that was holding this 2nd story deck up was "LUCK"

This is what an inch away from catastrophic failure looks like.
2 front posts completely rotted out. Entire front of the deck supported by nothing.
Temp posts installed to secure it for the weekend. Demo 2 bases and install new posts Monday.

Another bathroom in the books. Alterations and adjustments and some new fixtures freshened this bathroom up NICELY!

A complete gut job. This one tested me for sure but in the end turned out great.
Some awesome features like the oversized walk in shower, enclosed laundry/mechanical room, super fancy recessed toilet and niche and all topped off with a tile and in floor heat system.

Some door repairs that I completely forgot to take pics of but I did manage to snap a few of the helper bees.
Some very cute, curious and friendly kitties.

It's that time of year again. Hoping for another fantastic year and perhaps another notch on the belt. 😉

Another deck finally finished!
A few hiccups along the way but with the clients patience and my perseverance it's done and ready to enjoy. Beers and BBQ anyone! 😉

A gap in my schedule brings me back to the columns. A ton of prep work and what seemed like a million cuts seems worth it now these are finally done. A list of things that still need attention but sure made for a nice day to once a for all get rid of the scaffolding and give the customer their front entrance back.

When removing tile from a backslash 9 times out of 10 it is easier to remove everything right down to the studs and start fresh.
Add some backing, new sheet of drywall, some fancy cuts and Bing, bang boom ... Done! Ready for new tiles.

A much needed rescue on these front columns. Load bearing posts that were pretty much saw dust from water damage. Jacked up, beefed up, closed up and ready for siding.

And that's a wrap! Just in time for the long weekend. Last minute booking and the timing could not have worked out any better for the clients or myself.
Super happy with the way everything turned out.
