Centra Cam would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Dave Chamberlain. Dave volunteered on our Board of Directors for 26 years, often in the position of President. He was instrumental in fundraising activities and played a major role in many projects, such as the renovation of our main facility and the building of the Emergency Furniture and Clothing Depot (now known as The Essentials Boutique). In 2016 he was named our Volunteer of the Year. We will all miss his wisdom, friendly banter, and generous spirit. Rest easy Dave.

The Battle River Community Foundation in Camrose, AB is looking for a dedicated and organized Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team! This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities and supporting our mission to strengthen the community.

Position: Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Hours: 25 hours per week
Location: Camrose, AB

Key Responsibilities:
🗂️ Maintain accurate donor and granting records
📂 Perform general office tasks (filing, photocopying, organizing supplies)
✉️ Draft and proofread communications (grant letters, social media posts)
📞 Respond to inquiries from donors, grant recipients, and stakeholders
📅 Support event planning and coordination
💌 Assist with donor relations activities
🤝 Collaborate with the Executive Director and staff on foundation initiatives

Qualifications:
🎓 High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in office admin is a plus)
📋 Proven experience in an administrative role (non-profit/community-based preferred)
💻 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills
⏰ Strong organizational and time management skills
🌟 Commitment to the mission and values of the Battle River Community Foundation
