Hey Folks.

Tuesday nights from 7-9 pm are league information sessions where you can meet organizers and others looking to play in the 8-ball League this season.

Drop in to Ponyboat on Kent Street and ask the servers about the Tuesday League. They’ll have special table rates available every Tuesday this September for folks who’d like to dust off their cues and consider joining a 4 person team from October till March.

Happy Labour Day! What are you doing Tuesday night? Looking to play pool in Charlottetown this winter?

Join us from 7 - 9 pm on Tuesdays for Charlottetown 8-Ball League's information nights. We're all keen to reconnect with our pool community after a long time away from the tables and we look forward to seeing faces old and new.

Details for the new season are attached. Regular season starts in October so there's plenty of time to find a team or to reassemble the old gang.

Tuesday’s this month are your chance to see the changes in our new room, chat with organizers, and dust off your cues on the tournament tables in the back.

Ponyboat will be offering special table rates to anyone asking about the League and will point you to someone in the room who can answer your questions.

Over the past few weeks we have been running a weekly Round Robin tournament on Saturday afternoons. With the help of Scott Riley, one of our long standing members, we have found this to be a great success and have decided to make it a standing weekly event! So drop on by Saturday afternoon to take part, lots of pool and fun for all.

This week the tournament also falls onto the day of our members party! So drop by even if you don't plan on taking part in the tournament. There will be food, prizes and giveaways for any members that attend.

Hope to see a big group of new faces tonight, 7:00 at Dooly's for our meet and greet fun night!!

cbc.ca Charlottetown's popular 8-ball league is looking for new players, and hopes some of the Island's many newcomers from China will join.

About our League

My name is Robin and I am one of the board members for the Charlottetown 8-Ball League.
I just wanted to take a moment to tell you about a terrific league full of awesome people.
We play Tuesday nights from mid September to mid April. It is a team competition consisting of both men and women of all skill levels from beginner to expert.
Every week I sell Chase the 8 tickets for your chance to draw the 8 of spades and take home the pot. Previous years have won league members prize pots of $1200+. We also do a ticket sale fundraiser at Christmas time for a Liquor Store gift card of $500. The seller of the winning ticket takes home a $100 prize. This year the league will also be putting on fundraiser tournaments throughout the season for singles, scotch doubles as well as a doubles tourney for league members + guest.
There is tons of fun to be had all season, with the added bonus of the terrific Dooly's staff making each night extra special.
At seasons end, teams compete for a cash prize that is to be used towards team registration and travel to one of dozens of tournaments across North America.
There is also a year end banquet for everyone with an awards celebration, food, pool, prizes and tons of fun.
On a personal note, I have only had between 2-5 female competitors over the last few seasons, and I would love to have more lovely ladies join me in keeping the guys egos in check lol mind you I would also love to have more gentleman to school on the tables every week too lol
All joking aside, it is truly a wonderful league that I feel truly blessed to be a part of and I encourage more of you to join as well. Trust me you won't regret it.
Individual registration is $40 due upon joining, which also gives you your CCS membership, and each Tuesday night you play is $10 which gives you up to 10 league games plus practice/ fun time on the tables.
