How did we wind up here? Let me connect some dots for y’all. It all started when we were looking for a picture for our “Saddle Up” bag. This is a medium, dark roast coffee. I thought that a bull rider would be perfect on this bag! Kinda like a bull rider, this coffee is strong, yet has that sweet sensitive side 😉. Our searching lead us to Matt O’Flynn. (One day we need to share that story with you, as an interview, because it’s pretty awesome!) We headed up to Quesnel with our coffee trailer, the first rodeo after everything re-opened in 2021. It was so much fun getting to know Matts beautiful wife and family. Charles, our son, and our coffee roaster. (Also, my model for the reel, haha) attended Matts Roughstock school in Quesnel the following Spring. He came home after riding bulls with these guys and having an awesome weekend, and said mom, there’s two guys we need to sponsor! Eric o’Flynn and Clay Gordon. He said, these guys are really good, and could use our help. We can get cool shirts done for them! Well then… who are we to argue with your son, when he’s that excited! Haha. So we did! Eric made it to the finals in Sylvan Lake Ab. Matt, his older brother said it’s such a great event, and they we’re heading there. So we thought… we can’t miss this! So we booked the flights and had an incredible weekend!! Matt introduced us to Rusell and Jenn from Bull Riders Canada Inc. and that started the next friendship! We feel so blessed to have met all these folks and have the opportunity to build these friendships! So here’s the “Why”. Coffee, or any product or service, for that matter, doesn’t sell itself. So as a small company having these relationships matter to us! It’s not like us sponsors have so much money, we want to throw it all around make our name shine just because, haha (at least not us) We
