I love it here. And I’m so grateful for every version of myself who has persevered to get me to where I am today. It’s been 7 years since I embarked on this journey. I am proud of myself for continuously showing up for myself, my family, and my clients.
Bodywork is both a physical and an energetic exchange. Vulnerability is both inherent and essential. Working on my own terms allows me to honour this with my time and my full and present attention. I believe taking the time to connect through conversation before each session is integral for the successful integration of the treatment. Or maybe it’s just my Gemini moon. Either way, I always want to know how you’re doing and what kind of weight you may be carrying on your shoulders. It matters, you matter, your story matters. My treatment room is a safe space to set things down and I welcome you to leave behind anything which no longer serves you.
This is where the magic happens. Where vulnerability is held, where wounds are tended to, where suffering is released, where growth begins, and where souls are nurtured. In this space all are revered and kept safe so that they may disarm and re-regulate. It is my greatest honour to welcome you into this space and to accompany you on your journey to wellness.
I feel completely pulled apart and reformed after my training on Bowen Island, BC with @beaudoin_bodywork, the wisest man I have ever met. I feel so humbled and honoured to have had the opportunity to learn this deep healing magic. I’m lost for words, still integrating and trying to find my footing both as a practitioner and as a woman. I would never have imagined my path would lead me here, to a place where I get to be a vessel containing this ancient knowledge. I am so grateful and lit up. The women I met and grew so close to so fast, the love and care I received, and the ability to share this level of care with my community is all so overwhelmingly profound. I am so proud of all of us for showing up throughout the training as each of us unravelled and healed in our own unique ways, it was both a huge challenge and a great privilege. I’m so excited to mix it all with my own personal magic and to pour it into every woman I have the honour of holding space for.
A quick recap of Lucent Fest this weekend which filled my heart to bursting. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have shared space with such profound humans and I can hardly wait to do it again next year!
