Not a way any customer wants to start off their Tuesday after a long weekend 🙃

They dropped off their vehicle because of an engine knock and upon diagnosing there was no oil in the vehicle and metal shavings filled the filter after prolonged use without proper lubrication. The engine was deemed irreparable after the bottom end blowing out of it shortly after.

We've received a few inquiries requesting information about our shop and we figure a public post is the best way to get to know us 👋

📍 The shop is located at 1825 North York River Road in Warren Grove. Most may remember this as the Moase Siding property. The shop is the 2 bay garage on site.

⏰ Our hours are Monday thru Friday, 8AM to 5PM. We are not open on statutory holidays.

💸 Our shop rate is $99.00 + HST per hour. If you have a valid ID and registration which can verify you live in Warren Grove, we have a discounted rate for members of our community.

⚙️ We do install customer provided parts on one condition. If it doesn’t fit your vehicle, you pay for the time put into it. We ask that you double check the fitment to your vehicle to avoid this.

🔍 Yes, we do annual provincial inspections. They are a flat rate of $34.50 taxes in. All inspections follow provincial highway safety guidelines. Each inspection comes with a multipoint complimentary inspection performed by one of our technicians.

🚛 We have had some calls about servicing heavy duty trucks, which we don’t do. We suggest you contact our neighbor, Almac Truck Repair.

💬 It is true! You can book an appointment online after your first appointment by providing your license plate number or phone number. Currently, you can do this on Facebook by messaging us. Our website will be going live in the coming weeks with this feature!

🛻 If you have a business with multiple vehicles, you are entitled to fleet rates through our shop.

Our first week has come to an end and we couldn't have asked for a better first week!

Hey everyone 👋

My name is Daniel Turnbull. Some of you may not know me yet, but I'm the lead technician at Central Auto. As a licensed technician, I have personally put over 3,000 hours working on many vehicles this past year. Before Central, I worked at Centennial Nissan of Summerside and was working on engine and transmission repair, as well as electrical diagnosis and routine maintenance. Our priority at Central is your safety and to provide honest and quality service.

I have always taken an interest in anything automotive growing up. With that being said I'll be running Central Auto Sales on the same site. I'm excited to be apart of the Central Auto team and cannot wait to see what the future holds for the company. See you on opening day!

In late 2023, our company Black Oak Construction, purchased a property in Warren Grove.

Our goal with the property was to bring value within our community for years to come, and now, we can finally announce what our team has been working on the past few weeks!

Central Auto will be providing automotive repair services to the public, and additionally, auto sales through Central Auto Sales. We are working on partnerships with performance suppliers across Canada to become a retailer and have a few other things that will be announced later this year 🎉

With all that being said, we'd like to thank Dusty and the team at Yesco for the signage. To the auto shops that have reached out in support and to give us some help setting up, we can't thank you enough. Finally, a special thanks goes out to our community members and council for approving our vision!
