while spring takes it s sweet time getting here keep yourself busy with tasks that need doing to make this summers space extraordinary. w**d, w**d, w**d! this last rain has caused w**d seeds to sprout, get em now before they get a chance to make a whole new generation. tidy up beds if u haven't already, deep dig veggie beds and plant cool season hardy crops. I have more chores BUT! if u find a ray of sun, just bask in it and enjoy, spring is coming, Stark winter is over ;)

oi spring, why u be so stubborn to arrive, we are ready and waiting, chomping at the bit here actually....but taking pleasure in the very measured pleasure unfolding

in the garden this week: work on any clean up you missed last fall, turn compost so it is ready to add to beds in a few weeks. go sleuthing for signs of winter damage and prune out where required. put a beady eye ball out for w**ds that can be knocked back early.

above all, soak up that sunshine and bask in the knowledge that spring is springing and warmness is ahead! dreams of summer lushness are within reach

ok, this feels more like spring. thank goodness! finally getting a chance to get out there in my own garden and get the little things done that have eluded me over winter, so lovely to see everything sprouting up and emerging from their winter sleep!

it can't be long now before spring arrives, time to get gardening kids, a big exciting season awaits!

feels like a good time to say hello to all my gardening friends out there, things are thawing, buds emerging and spring is so close I can smell it! here's to another great year of growing, looking forward to what's in store!
