This is like out of a comedy special.

Because it had to be shared. Please don’t let them polarize you. Talk to your community. Learn who supports the movement. There are many aboriginal and black people here - within good reason. The mandates will disproportionately affect those who have faced institutionalized poverty and who will be most affected by rises in inflation and labour shortages. There were already 20,000 trucks off the road from labour shortages before the rally. There is a homelessness crisis. Living expenses are going up. Food costs are rising.

Who do you think these issues disproportionately affect?
Please have some compassion towards those who are most by this and do not allow your political affiliations make this into something that it is not.

This is not about right and left.

If you want to be completely frank, this is as close to “Occupy Wall Street” as we have seen in ten years.

There are hundreds of thousands of aboriginal and black voices supporting this mandate. Whether you disagree with them or not - don’t you think they have gone long enough not being allow to have their voices be heard?

Don’t silence those who stand together.

As a white male, what do I have to say about this? Not very much.

But I am willing to make space for black people and aboriginal people to speak on why they are supporting the rallies, instead of silencing them from speaking about it, and calling hundreds of thousands of POC “white nationalists” because they don’t want their living expenses to go through the roof or may not feel safe taking a vaccine that the government forces on them.

Do you have an understanding of the trauma that someone goes through generationally?

How can you feel confident in telling these people to just listen to the government after seeing what that has done to their families for decades?

This is so sad that we have became this polarized and this far removed from what is true. Even when the truth is obvious and the lies are even more so.

We are all tired of this. We just want our country back and to feel safe again.

Let us stand together without tearing us down. It is not good for anyone.

United we stand.

Maybe sometimes, people have to take you in “little” doses. Maybe they’re not ready for the full version. Maybe you trigger them at a deep level, because you represent to them what it would look like if they were to observe the lies and the shadows that they live behind. People go towards the light but they will shield their eyes so that it doesn’t blind them. They may need time to adjust. It is okay to be the light. It is okay for people to take their time. Those who want to be free from the dark confines of their own mind, eventually will get there. If you rush someone, judge someone, or wonder if it would be preferable if maybe you just shielded and protected these components of yourself - well then you are not free, either. Don’t allow the mind to keep you stuck within confines on what is and is not possible, or when you can feel happy and when you are not allowed to feel happy. Maintain your position in the light and walk away from your own lies, and eventually those who are brave shall follow you as well.
