I'll be performing this summer ~ ✨️ July 28th --- 39 days of July @ the Bellydance Extravaganza from 6-8pm // Duncan, BC ✨️ Aug 2nd - 5th --- @enlivenfestivalbc // Birken, BC * I put on Ravi Shankar the other eve and let songs shuffle. I found myself trancing through and into many different interesting layers. It was the first time I've recorded myself dancing in several weeks. My mirror has also been covered in my room the past weeks. Interesting phase I'm in, of allowing my dance to be for me, nobody else. My mirror neither. Just letting it be what is is, no need to record and share, or watch myself and stare. Just being, breathing and enjoying. This terrain is intimate, vulnerable, and exciting. Hope to dance with some of you this summer - big shifts to come. Stay tuned for classes this fall 🧡

6 weeks of choreo with these creatures ✨️ So proud of you all 🥲 We worked on a piece of it each week, beginning the classes with warm up & then some drills ~ what a learning experience for myself, and them!! There is a fine art to choreography and teaching in a way that's integrative and also fun - grateful to be on this journey and for the support 💥 (There was about 10 seconds at the end of this choreo of fun playing shimmies but Instagram cuts it at 1.30s ☹️) What a bittersweet thing to complete this ~ so much time and dedication poured into these classes ~ and so much received back from each of you 🌷 thank you all for showing up with your intentions, questions, learning styles, emotions and care 💗 --- now to complete my Thursday's class here in Duncan. Then 1 week break, then starting another 6 weeks in Victoria again 🧡

Week 5 ✨️ Everyone's been working so hard on integrating this choreo into their bodies and I am SO PROUD ♥️🥲 We've got one more week left and a little bit more to add onto it, stay tuned ~

A little throwback to last year's @enlivenfestivalbc 💜✨️ Such a sweet little gathering that holds my heart so dearly ~ gratitude to playful collaborative performing, heartfelt late night acoustic performances (ahem ahem, @kaya.ko.music was stellar 💥) rad workshops and so many juicy pond dips and giggles with so many lovely humans. Thank you @krystalstarlove for sending me this the other day, was nice to receive and relive those days ~ On the musical weavings was @medicine_fox & @christian.borrego.art 💥 such a delicious and playful combo to dance and perform to! Thank you creatures 💜🦋 Looking forward to this year's Enliven ✨️

Something familiar and exciting happened today✨ ️For those of you who followed my journey of crafting a few years ago, may know exactly what this is. It is indeed, a Pussy Power Pendant ✨️ One crafted for my dear roomie Miche, to hang in her car and catch rainbows ~ 🌹 ~ Weaving jewelry is something my hands have been longing for awhile now, and today I listened and allowed my hands to play and create and what a joy it brought them ♥️ more creations to come.. already have a pair of earrings on my craft table waiting to be hammered! ✨️🦋
