We found this article and it’s so on point. “Mothers who recycle and teach their children to do the same are doing a great service to the environment that we all should be grateful for,” said Aileen Lucero, Coordinator, EcoWaste Coalition.
“We thank our mothers for not throwing recyclables to the bin and for the many environmental, health and financial benefits that recycling brings,” she said.

Happy Earth Day 🌎
Here at Styro Re Cycle it feels like Earth Day everyday!! The amount of EPS/Expanded Polystyrene AKA “styrofoam” we keep out of the land fill per year is incredible.
We have 2 different ways to reduce the foam, we have our cold compress where our pallets rang between 400-800lbs. We also have our thermal machine which condenses the foam to a 90 to 1 ratio. Our thermal pallets weigh between 1000-1500lbs each.
Not only does our company reduce the waste, then we put it back out in the economy to be reused. Our condensed product can then be turned back into bead, used for any hard black plastic (look around your office, vehicles, picture frames, the list just keeps going), it has been used for the soles of shoes. Sky’s the limit when you recycle, reduce and reuse ♻️.

We are so excited that our new machine is up and running. It densified 90-1 that is an increase of 50 from our first machine. This will allow us to put more into a sea container. It is also better for our environment as it reduces shipping and it uses less power. Still trying to figure out the best size of mold we require for shipping.
