As I deepen my relationship with myself, I learn to embrace my shadows and recognize my divine dualities.
My lens has widened, my heart has opened, I've grieved the girl who couldn't love her flaws, and turned my gaze towards accepting, and doing the work to be my best and highest self.
The work is hard, but the pain endured doing it is ten times better than the pain of not doing it—of not evolving.
When I have gratitude in my heart, I heal. When I show others compassion and grace, I heal. Connecting to source, breathing, and mantra work heals and revives me so that I can share my love with others.

Meet Angela!!
Ang is a Mama Bear to three young kiddos, works full time, and still has time to prioritize her health. We've been on a journey together for the past two years, and she has shown incredible strength and determination when sh*t got hard.
Before we started working together she believed she was eating healthy and exercising properly, but she was actually consuming too few calories, way overdoing cardio, and struggling to see progress.
Initially, she was unsure about weight training but became excited after learning about its benefits compared to excessive cardio!!
Her biggest breakthroughs included improving nutrition habits, shifting her mindset towards exercise and nutrition, and learning patience and trust in the process of long-term change.
After years of poor sleep, fad diets, and struggling to make time for self-care, Ang has lost 20lbs, increased lean muscle mass, improved strength, nutrition habits (seriously, she's a rockstar), sleep quality, skin health, and energy levels!!
So what's Ang's Advice for implementing a healthier lifestyle?
"DO IT, and start today! It's never too late to reach your goals and have the body, physique, and health mindset you're looking for.
Look at the process as a journey, one that will have its ups and downs but one that's worth it.
Take things one day at a time. Even if you simply do half of what you think you wanted, you're still making progress in the right direction."

Oh, hey friends!
I realize I've spent some time away from socials in the last couple of years, so let me re-introduce myself.
I’m Amanda, and I am a personal trainer, yoga instructor, theatre nerd, and travel enthusiast.
My greatest passion is people!
After 15+ years in the business we call show, I had to take a hard look at myself. I recognized that everything about me and my lifestyle was unhealthy. Years on the road had led to total burnout, and it was affecting every part of my life. I may have looked healthy on the outside, but I was a mess inside.
I decided to change my focus to my health and lean into my other skills. In the last 5 years, I have lived abroad teaching yoga, become a personal trainer, started my business, found love, moved to another province, became a 500hr RYT, joined a mentorship program, taken lots of therapy, and have gratefully performed in a couple of musicals.
During this time, I’ve learned how to communicate better (my main objective at first!!), learned that my energy is divine and my own, that forgiveness really is freedom, that my self-limiting beliefs are just fear, and that fear can be overcome!!
So, with all these new tools, a mindset shift, and unmasked, here I am. Doing some work to help people, having fun while doing it, and letting go of what others think of me so I can be my highest self 🙂

Beth and I have been working together for a few years now.
When we first started, getting healthy and creating consistency (after surgery & physio) was goal #1.
We started right at the beginning- how to brace your core, hinge your hips, move in a pain free range of motion....and we continued to grow, explore, and develop. She started with Chair Yoga and is now deadlifting over 100lbs!!
She's added YEARS to her life by developing and adhering to her ideal lifestyle, and she moves with ease!!... well, some days are easier than others 😉
We've worked together through pain, injuries, high stress, busy-ness, you name it. She always shows up for herself.

⭐Embracing the Journey Beyond Pain ⭐
For 15 whirlwind years, I soaked up the thrill of singing, dancing, and acting in over 40 musicals across North America. But behind the scenes, for six of those years, I battled a silent adversary: chronic hip and low back pain.
Simple joys turned into daily struggles— sitting cross-legged without severe pain became a distant memory, and my leg felt like it had a mind of its own- like it would fall out of its socket at any moment. Living in constant pain became unbearable. I worried: if this doesn’t improve, will I have to stop dancing?
I tried it all—massage, acupuncture, physio, chiro—yet the pain persisted, and answers remained elusive. Frustration peaked. Enough was enough. It was time to take charge and understand my body on a different level.
So, I rolled up my sleeves, went back to school, and dove into the world of health and fitness to become a personal trainer. Understanding my core and its connection to my hips became my mission. With consistent effort and an eventual diagnosis of my hip, breakthroughs emerged, and change took root.
Now, I've unlocked a world where I move almost freely, within my own modified range of motion, without the fear of pain. I can dance and move more efficiently now than I ever could!
Here’s the exciting part—I’m here to lend a helping hand to you. Specifically the Boomer community!! There’s an entire world out there, brimming with life and adventure, and we can conquer it without the weight of pain and worry. Let’s do it together!

Merry Christmas, friends!
If you've got a weight loss goal and you want to stay on track this Holiday weekend, here's how:
1. Awareness and Intent: Before diving into the feast, set a clear intention to eat mindfully. Be aware of your triggers for overeating, whether it's social pressure, certain foods, or simply the holiday atmosphere.
2. Portion Control: Survey the spread before filling your plate. Opt for smaller portions and a variety of foods rather than heaping large quantities onto your plate. This allows you to enjoy different flavours without going overboard.
3. Savour Each Bite: Slow down the pace of eating. Take smaller bites, chew thoroughly, and savour the taste, texture, and aroma of each dish. Engaging your senses helps you appreciate the food and signals your brain when you're satisfied.
4. Listen to your Body: Pay attention to your body's hunger and fullness signals. Pause halfway through the meal to assess how satisfied you are. I like to wait for my full "sigh" to know when I'm satisfied. Stop eating when you feel comfortably full, even if there's food left on your plate.
Most importantly, stay safe, be kind, and enjoy yourself!

10 beautiful days eating fish, practicing Spanish, and thawing out from -35.
As adults, we forget to play. We forget how important it is to get dirty in the sand, to feel the ebb and flow of the Sea, to laugh at our mistakes and drop the ego, but these things keep us young at heart and enliven our spirits!! Even if we fail. So much beauty in “failure”.
