A medical visit can be stressful sometimes! We understand this.
We have TheraTappers for anyone who could benefit :) They work by stimulating both sides of the brain (bilateral stimulation) and help to regulate the nervous system so that you can experience your visit being present in body and mind as much as possible. Just ask your tech for the TerraTappers if you’d like to try them!

Have you ever used ear seeds therapeutically? The different parts of the body are represented by specific points on the ear that can be stimulated using herbal ear seeds. Ask Dr. Jennifer about them the next time you come in for acupuncture!
We are always trying our best to accommodate requests for ultrasound and for MFM consultations. Our capacity is limited due to human resources and being a small practice, and wanting to keep our high standards (which takes more time per patient visit!). We have been trying to recruit for some time. We are working at maximum capacity on most days at this time. Sometimes, with last minute cancellations and keeping some rooms for emergencies, we may be able to accommodate urgent requests. As a result of Human Resources, some medical/nursing services we offer may be restricted due to high demand and limited resources. Thank you for your understanding and for coming to your appointment if you confirmed it, and being on time! This allows people that need access to this specialized type of care to have access to it in reducing no shows. We have a 6-7% no show daily, as a reference. The massage and acupuncture services are not impacted by this. Have a safe and restoring summer everyone! Thanks for trusting our team taking care of you! Dr. Naud
Being a baby ultrasound tech is a dream job, but working at Milestones makes it even better!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On Wednesday, we wear pink!
Come see us, we’re nice 😊 We’re re-imagining healthcare & wellness and we’re the only community clinic in Edmonton and surroundings offering Maternal and Fetal Medicine specialist advanced ultrasound!
We are building our team and looking for new sonographers! Casual, part-time or full-time. Looking for someone eager to advance women’s health, continue to learn, with great interpersonal skills. If that is you, please reach us at [email protected] or apply on our post on Indeed. Can’t wait to meet you!
Vaginal probes — vaginal probes can help see clearer details of the pelvis, cervix, lower uterus segment, in early pregnancy. As always, it is not an obligation to use them! They are safe to use, and are essential for surveillance of placenta previa, short cervix, or early pregnancy of uncertain viability. Please ask your sonographer if you have concerns or questions!
When do we screen for preeclampsia? Screening happen at the 11-13week ultrasound, although sometimes can be done later in the 2nd trimester. The key is to screen and treat early. Evidence shows us that early screening and intervention is the best way to mitigate preeclampsia in high risk pregnancies — so that is what we are doing here at Milestones!

We’re grateful to have built a clinic that our staff and patients feel as good as possible in. We are striving to create an environment that is settling for the nervous system so that everyone who walks through the door feels calm and peace at our clinic. ❤️ Sarah, our full time registered massage therapist, chimes in!
Pregnancy and infant loss is a stigmatized experience for women and families — one that we see often and is close to our hearts. We’re grateful for @tinyfootprintsyeg and what they do for families in Edmonton who are grieving the loss of their angel babies.
Preeclampsia is a common condition that can happen during pregnancy. It is associated with high blood pressure and is the most common complication occurring for pregnant people and babies around the world. Luckily, science has provided us with a screening process and a safe, accessible treatment —which we offer here at Milestones!
We have a warm spot for you in the waiting room: our chair with infrared heat for your lower back. The heat from infrared penetrates slight deeper than the standard heating pads, providing a deeper relaxation of those hard to reach lower back muscles. As always, listen to your body and discontinue use of any discomfort!
What is a breach baby? &how can acupuncture help? Acupuncture is a treatment with some evidence for helping babies that are breech turn to an ideal position for a vaginal delivery. Want to learn more? You can book a free consultation with Dr. Jennifer here at Milestones by calling our office or booking online :-)
We installed a private work booth allowing our staff to focus, attend videoconferences, and get work done without the constant interruptions experienced at the front desk. The work we do requires attention to details, and after hearing feedback from the front desk, we created a rotational “quieter” admin day for each staff, so that they can have a break from the phone and its pressures. We are experimenting with building a culture of resilience and trauma-informed care, and our research suggests that providing variety in tasks is important for resilience.
Most of the time, we get to deliver positive news. But sometimes we have to deliver unfortunate news. We designed our clinic so that folks receiving sad news can leave in private and have the space they need to process. ❤️ We hope that, no matter what news we deliver, our patients feel supported, heard and seen here at Milestones.
