NEW AWARD ✨️ from Racheal & Alex's wedding in Canmore! There was a snowfall warning on the wedding day, and this was the wedding party making their way back after snowy photos ❄️

Trinity & Michael's wedding day was an early summer dream held at their beautiful acreage property. How special is it that they will look out their window to the very field where they said their vows or see the tree they planted during their ceremony growing in the years to come? Their day was full of fun surprises, including a line dance for the wedding party choreographed by the talented bride, and a lot of personal details. Speaking of beautiful, Trinity was the vision of a garden goddess in her incredible gown, and Michael looked dang sharp himself. I am so happy for these two, they are a perfect pair!

I had such a wonderful time during Chantal & Danny's engagement session earlier this month! In a week full of rain and the lushest of pink blossoms, we managed to meet up on a sunny evening. The handsome Smoky, with his distinctly impressive eyebrows, joined the couple too. He made my night with his sweet demeanour and little cries when not included in the photos.

Chantal is a friend from elementary school who I'd lost touch with over the years. We have been following each other's lives online for the past number of years and it was incredible to finally reconnect with her and to meet Danny! The session was full of laughter and I am so happy for them!

Till death do they part!

We had the pleasure of capturing our awesome friends Rachael and Alex’s wedding in Canmore. I thought having a leap day wedding would be unique but add in a snowfall warning for Thursday and the day was truly one of a kind.

Not to mention the truly stand-out couple who met while gaming and would always be the last to log off because they always wanted to talk just a bit longer.

The bride was a vision in her black wedding dress amongst the winter storm and thank goodness for Rachael and Alex who braved the cold, the wind and the heavy snow to get some outdoor photos in the blizzard.

Cheers to 2024! As I put together photos for a highlight reel, I'm thinking how grateful I am for my 2023 couples who trusted me to capture some truly important moments. Precious moments with parents; the best party of thier life; the moment marrying your spouse finally becomes official; when your little sister/bestie sees you in your wedding dress /suit; the laughs you share with your 'ride-or-die's; the look of pride on your parents faces; the tears you shed in joy. And so much more...

Aislinn & Mike's glamorous 1920's themed wedding hit all the marks: full of joy, laughter and love, a dusting of fresh snow in a lovely setting, the beautiful venue and decor and so many touching moments throughout the day!

Aislinn & Mike were married at Bearspaw Golf Club in Calgary on the last weekend of October and it was a beautiful joining of two incredible individuals

Words can hardly express how magical and fun Alex & Macey's perfect autumn wedding day was!

The day was relaxed, emotional and full of joy. Alex and Macey got ready separately at Macey's parents' home and shared a first look and personal vows on the front porch. Pictures were a blast and the ceremony and reception that followed were just beautiful! From the moments of big laughter to emotional support and tear patrol to the touching speeches and MC, officiant and beer boy duties; friends and family played a special role on their wedding day. Including their sweet (and I mean super sweet) dog Frannie who had 'best dog' job at the ceremony!

It's been incredible to be a very small part of this couple's insanely beautiful love story and to get to know these two incredible people. Congratulations Alex & Macey!

Jenna and Brett had the most incredible 70's themed wedding at the stunning Yorath House in the heart of our river valley!

Sure, they had awesome 70's details and decor and I've been wanting to shoot at the Yorath House for years but what made the day special was really Jenna & Brett and the immense love, playfulness, respect and joy they share as well as the beautiful community of friends and family that witnessed their 'I Do's and celebration.

Kennedy & Travis were married on the last day of September and it was pretty darn awesome!

Britta & Eric were officially married last fall but renewed their vows and celebrated with a larger group last weekend! Which also happened to be the anniversary of their first date. Britta told me one of the reasons she fell in love with Eric was because of how safe she felt with him. I think that is just so incredibly beautiful!
