Happy Fall to everyone.
I’ll be in the mountains for the next week for work and I just can’t help but reflect on how beautiful these places are.

When it all works out and how it happened.
At the very end of Jennah and and Dawson’s adventure session in Italy we were gifted this beautiful little spot in a quiet village.
The day after the wedding, I spent about many hours hiking through the valley looking for special little towns and vistas that would work for their adventure session. At the very end of my hike I was told to visit the small little cathedral castle town that had only a few residents. It was a beautiful little town, and I was excited to bring them there the next day.
This village had one special viewpoint from an old church that faced the lake and I brought the couple there to wrap up or shoot. With only a few people in town, and it being very obvious that it’s very rare to see a photo session here we were approached by one sweet local woman who was really excited to see us. She took me aside brought me to this one little private lookout that faced into the valley rather than at the lake.
At first I had some reluctance with the spot, but I didn’t want to disrespect her and her suggestion so as we were finishing, I brought Jennah and and Dawson back to this location.
Within a few snaps, I completely saw it differently once the two were in the frame . Everything about that spot came to life and and these two completely made it work.
It’s a constant reminder, that scouting is so valuable to me but it also takes timing, some good luck and gracious people to get those magical moments.

♥️Thank YOU♥️
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for their patience over this summer. I was fortunate enough to travel for the better part of the last three months and every moment of it was exciting.
I just returned home from a beautiful wedding in northern Italy and I am now back in Canada. I will be doing my very best to catch up on life and work.
Over the next couple of months I will be back working through Banff and interior BC and I still have a few openings for adventure sessions or micro weddings, if there is interest.
Stay warm, enjoy the fall and please touch base with me anytime and I’ll be quick to reply.
One last thing I want to do is say a huge thank you to some of the companies that I have bought equipment from.
I’m not sponsored however I put my gear through a ton of duress and I feel like it’s worth noting that these companies provide high-quality and durable equipment. Without it I can’t do my job, so I think it should be noted.

A couple days after their beautiful wedding in Lake Como we explored the countryside and some beautiful villages for their adventure session .
This part of Italy is truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. It is fulled with incredible views and such picturesque villages.
I feel so honoured to have been invited to be a part of your wedding and please enjoy some of our fun.
A few frames from a spectacular day at Lake Como. Congratulations to Jennah & Dawson.
On the banks of Como in Mannagio these two enjoyed the splendour and hospitality of this Italian paradise. Thank you so much for everything and I was truly honoured to be there.
Many more to come, of course, but I couldn’t resist sharing a few😀
Lake Lugano in Italy.
Some places in the world just make you smile. Without a doubt this wonderful place is one of them.
Peter and Vanessa on their adventure session after their wedding in Paris. Seeing the Olympics this year always brings back memories of one of the world’s most iconic cities.
It’s been a year with a couple of breaks, tens of thousands of miles travelled and a million smiles. A few more long distance weddings to go this year in places I’ve never been before which continues to excite me.
I hope everyone summer has been filled with memories and have a great fall .
A new opening for a session/elopement in Banff/Lake Louise through Peyto Lake for September 3rd this year.

Ori in such an epic location in South America. The Valle De La Luna (Valley of the moon) May literally be one of the most spectacular places I have ever hiked or been to. Marc and Ori did their adventure wedding photos there with me in the Atacama desert of Chile. I truly felt like we were walking on Mars.
Congratulations Kirsten & Edwin.
iIt was all lovely Friday here in my hometown of Edmonton Alberta. A day filled with laughs, smiles and we all had the complete fortune when the rain subsided so we could go explore some beautiful spots here in the city.
This is just a small teaser from Fridays wedding with more to come down the road.
i’ve been doing my best since getting back from Portugal to catch up with all the summer wedding edits and email correspondence. Thank you for your patience😀

It’s been a whirlwind of a summer so far. I have found myself in Iceland, throughout North America, just returned from Portugal, and now I’m back home for a little bit of time.
I am feeling especially fortunate to be able to spend all these adventures with wonderful people. I’m home for a few weeks before hopping on a plane again and I just wanted to revisit some wonderful moments.
Here is a beautiful wedding in Guatemala with Diane and Connor. This is certainly a country that I wish everyone has a chance to see once in their life with so much colour and vibrancy.
Have an amazing week and enjoy all those special nights this summer.
The first two months of summer have been an amazing ride. It’s the middle of summer and I just wanted to revisit some of the beautiful moments from the last two months on the road.
I can’t thank everyone enough for making all these weddings come to life, and to my amazing couples who celebrate moments and allow me to be a part of them.
Have a wonderful Saturday and I am so excited for the next couple months.
A surprise wedding!!!!!
Dona and Ryan invited family and friends to what they thought was an annual get together in the Okanagan. It started out as a late afternoon cocktail gathering and turned into the most amazing surprise wedding.
I can’t tell you how fun it was to see everyone chatting and trying to sort out what was going on right up until the moment they walked down the aisle.
It was also a reunion for me as well as I got to see some mutual friends who I originally met when photographing their wedding and family portraits over the years.
Hosted at what is truly one of the most stunning venues in BC, the is absolutely jaw-dropping.
These two blew us all away with this evening, and the amazing work by Maegen and her planning team at turn the dream into reality.
I just returned home temporarily from Kelowna and I couldn’t wait to share a few moments from this day. Many more to come 😀

Happy 4th of July to our neighbours in the south. I’m just preparing to zip off to the Okanagan for the weekend for some fun in the sun.
I was doing some back up storage this morning and I was looking back at some of the weddings from two years ago and wanted to pull a few images for fun.
I have made openings for mid September through until the end of October for sessions. It’s probably the most forgiving time of year when it comes to the weather as we still get those warm temperatures and the tourist season slows down through the mountains and BC.
Have an amazing day and a fantastic weekend.
Congratulations Ari & Jordyn
Some beautiful moments from Banff and the Rimrock hotel this past weekend. The rain stayed away and these two shared a wind day with close family and friends in our amazing Rockies.
Just a few teasers from Sunday with so many more to come.

Congratulations Bridget & Quinn!
The summer sun was shining on these two last week in beautiful Banff. Family and friends from all over North America witnessed a week of festivities in our impressive Rockies.
I was so lucky to meet these two last year when we had their adventure session ahead of the wedding and we immediately hit it off.
Enjoy a few memories from their day and a huge thank you to amazing cast of vendors that brought the vision to life!

This is the type of views we can experience. Jaw-dropping, isn’t it?
Rylan & Anna on their anniversary adventure session.
Another whirlwind trip around the sun. I’m proud to say I’m now 48 years old and I still have both my original hips, despite how much abuse I put my body through.
I rarely post a photo of myself on social media, and when I went to find a picture today I couldn’t find one that was recent within a year. I guess I am ready for a new one.
I also thought this would be a good chance to say hello to some of the new followers that I’ve been so fortunate to find here and meet through photography.
A few fun facts about me:
1. I am a massive Vintage Star Wars and G.I.Joe fan… I’ve been collecting the action figures since I was a kid, and I have no shame about it. Ha ha.
2. I spent much of my younger years backpacking around the world, and I still remember telling my friend when we were camping in northern China that when I got back to Canada, I was going to be a professional photographer. I didn’t mention to him that I also collected Star Wars figures.
3. The longer I do this career I recognize that the epic photos are important, but being able to go back 20 years from now and to see photos of your closest family and friends is what matters the most from what photography offers.
4. I’ve travelled and backpacked to well over 80 countries. People ask me many times, which are my favourite to visit or have visited. I go to Europe every year and I think every country there is incredible and offers something for everybody. However, the countries that will always stand out the most to me are India, Myanmar, Madagascar, Ethiopia, and Egypt. I look back at how challenging the travel was and how little money I spent in some of those places, but the memories can’t be replicated.
4. I always have a book on the go, and in the last year I really made a conscious effort to read books that were recommended to me even if the content was something I didn’t think I would like. I’ve been so happy with the choice.
5. I’ve been starting to learn how to play guitar. I decided a year and a half ago that I would finally learn it and I’m happy to say that I’m glad I chose photography. I am not the next Prince.
Have the greatest day and wonderful 2024.
Congratulations J&N!
I’m back home after a beautiful wedding weekend in Banff. These two lovelies were treated to the park and the looking as wonderful as always.
I’m just settled in and have begun my editing process and I couldn’t wait to share just a few moments from the wedding.
Thank you everybody for continuing to follow our adventures and enjoy a few frames from this wonderful day.
As always a huge thank you to Jody and the team at for making this a fairytale castle wedding.

Diane & Connor days before there wedding. Often with destination weddings, we try to sneak in an extra session, exploring spots that we may not be able to reach on the wedding day.
