We had a great week installing two TOLON washers. The only bad thing was our AC died in our install truck and we are in the middle of a heat wave. Plus we had to remove the AC unit from our hotel room to get the washer through. Now to wrap up the week with some local service. It’s my 31st birthday this weekend so after a long week I get to relax with my girls. They are 20 months and 3 weeks old so I use the word relax loosely. I will enjoy a glass of 15 year Scotch though. Have a great weekend everyone!

My son Jay doing a bearing job on a uw60, easily done with the aid of the high lift 30 year old Japanese pallet jack. These bearing jobs are a little tricky if not done exactly right and can be very expensive if done wrong. A lot of the machines out there have a extract speed of over 1000 rpm and reach g force of up to 400. You’ve got to do it right! The previous service co bowed out on this and stopped returning the customers calls for service. Jay is probably one of the only techs in western Canada who has done such a very wide range of bearing jobs from 20 lb to 600 lb machines. To put into perspective the 20 lb unit will weigh in at 500 physical lbs, and a 600 lb is well over 15,000 lbs in weight. This washer particular washer is rated at 60 lb wash capacity, weighs in at 1,500 lbs.

Working in a family business can be a struggle sometimes. But it can also be a blessing. My wife and I just had our second baby while Jay and I had two installs sundenly come up that couldn’t be postponed. Luckily our nephew Trey was able to fill in for me during his summer break. I am truley thankful to have family support and work in a family business. Taking delivery of another full load of TOLON washers today. This load has 22 lb and up to 90 lb capacity washers. Our next sea can will have 130 lb TOLON washers and 130 lb TOLON dryers that’ll be arriving any day now. With our full load of TOLON dryers a few weeks ago we’re near fully stocked lol. JYL equipment is thankful and appreciates our partnership with TOLON USA.

Taking delivery of the first 40’ sea can full of stock dryers. We’ve already received two 40’ sea cans of washers. With our partnership with TOLON USA we’ll always have stock on new laundry equipment.
