Today We Remember Why we're Here and How Our Freedom Came at the Cost of So many Lives.

Both My Grandfather's fought For Freedom but were still able to embrace Love over Hate. One Grandfather (Leonard Williams)Traveled the Underground Railroad to escape Racism and Find his Freedom.
I never met him just heard a few remarkable stories.

My Other Grandfather (Jack MacKay) was a Lieutenant in WWII. I spent a lot of time growing up with him around he taught me more than he knows he did. He was definitely a thinker would build all sorts of things and invented a few his own. Also a Poet and I Love Poetry as it's in My Blood❣️

I Would Like to Share one of my Grandpa Jack's Poems this is one of my Favorites.

He has him centered in his Sights,
What is the purpose of this fight?
He thinks not, of why it be,
Only better him than me.

He squeezes the trigger,
As he breathes out,
Survival,
That's what war's about.

A cold chill, shudders him,
Is it duty? Or is it sin?
