When AS asked for a pink set for her trip Mexico I saw a photo and put my spin on it & added some chrome

I don’t post nearly often enough but pardon the pun I nailed it today!! As soon as RD showed me her photo idea I ran with it! Added a custom green & away I went! We also tried a brand new shape for her and I love it, bye bye coffin nails hello almond

What a great way to end my week!!! This lovely lady came in with gel polish that had started to chip shortly after she had it done. The tech that did her nails used a coarse arbor band to “prep” her nail even after she asked if it was necessary! 6 out of 10 nails had rings of fire! I took my time removing the gel polish & sculpted out a new set. She had wanted the “glazed donut” finish, unfortunately I didn’t have the exact chrome. However, in my opinion these turned out beautifully - makes me want to do a fill on my nails & go back to almond😉

In May a gas engine exploded & M. had severe burns to his hands, arms and chest. Everything has healed with the exception of the nails looking “singed” and the free edge being extremely thin. He is getting married this weekend and his fiancé asked me if there was anything I thought I could do for him. I said I wouldn’t make any promises but I would do my best. Where the free edge is “black” it was completely detachable from the nail bed. I carefully clipped away the loosened nail plate to expose a healthy nail bed beneath. To protect the nail bed I sculpted a free edge out of acrylic. He was a very happy man when he left … “thank you so much, my nails won’t look dirty for my wedding”

Rebalance summer fun

When you forget to take a photo when your friend leaves you take a photo when she comes for a rebalance 5 weeks later!

I love my job, especially when I know I can make a difference in the way someone feels.

Grad nail transformation. This volleyball player keeps her nails short but loves long nails, so she now has long beautiful nails for grad. Don’t mind the red cuticles, they were pretty dry when she came in tonight so I used my cuticle bits to clean them up (they will be happier tomorrow!)
