Hey all. Sorry about not being so active over the past month. I'm doing okay now but the pandemic is definitely still a struggle. If you're struggling out there right now know you're not alone. Anyhow, here's a picture of the common milkweed in my front yard and a morning cloak enjoying some nectar this morning.

Hey, this isn't my regular post I do to this page but it's pride month and such. Anyways, as you probably already know, my name is Juno and I am a transgender woman. I'm a Plant Sci major at UoG and I just want folks to know this is who I am and that I do support the rights of all LGBTQIA+ peeps and I wish everyone but the TERFs a lovely month.

I got a cool one for all of you today. Got jewel orchids, mosses and some cool little carnivorous plants (drosera and uriticula) in this week and have just made a lovely mason jar Terrarium featuring an absolutely stunning jewel orchid (Macodes petola var. Kalimantan). Will put it up on marketplace soon for $64 hst included. Personally, I wish I could make the price lower but unfortunately jewel orchids (outside of Ludisia discolour) are expensive and I don't have the time to propagate them currently. I hope to make my own props of these soon but that will be a while from now. I promise though that I will always give terrariums that are self sustaining (outside of the occasional watering) that have good medium and contain springtails to prevent mold and make a tiny ecosystem. Anyhow, happy pride month to all my q***r and trans friends out there. Will make a post about my personal relation to pride later this week.

Hey all, hope everyone had a great week. I made these 2 a couple of days ago as some more basic terrariums that are more affordable. The first one is a Mason jar with a maiden hair fern, 2 species of moss and miniature baby's tears. The second one is in an old storage jar I had around and has an African violet and 4 types of moss. I'll be putting these up on marketplace for $15 and $20 respectively plus hst.

Anyhow, I wish everyone a great weekend and hoping I'll have some even cooler plants next week to make some even more stunning terrariums.

Here are 2 of my terrariums that I've made recently. The first is a personal one that I'm using to test stuff out and the 2nd one is one that I'm hoping to sell soon though its still early in its growth as one (species of Plant in each in the comments).

This is my first time running a page but welcome to Plantaholics. A place where I am planning to show some really cool native plants that I may or may not have for sale in the near future.
