Picked up a second set of AKG headphone’s and a Hosa tech dual 1/4’ trs to 1/4 trs adaptor so I have a pair for the vocal booth and control room. Now just need a mic and table stand and artist to engineer talk back is a go.

Slowly getting back in the swing of things, after roughly 12 years of not having my own studio. Played around in Ableton tonight learning the ropes, worked on a new beat with some drums and a basic melody, sounds not too bad, still got a long way to go but off to a decent start.

We have power.. 🎙️🎧

Back in the day I always ran Avid Pro Tools from the Mbox2 with an ilock but it’s a brave new world, insert the U Audio Volt2. Can’t wait to get this baby rockin’, new music coming very, very soon.. 🎛️🔊🎵🎶

Pickin’ up some area rugs for the studio today, keeping sound reflections to a minimum is key for an effective editing and mixing space.

I always loved these cans.. Out of all the headphones I’ve ever worn throughout the years in all the different studios I’ve been in, the AKG were always the most comfortable, super lightweight and give a great dynamic sound, happy to have my own now. 🎧🎶

Just found out that I’ve been accepted into the Rise “Microloan Program”! Now I can get the studio equipment I need to do a soft launch of “Grey Wall Sound”. Looks like I’ll be recording both clients and my own new music sooner than I thought. 😄🎧🗣️🎙️🖥️🔊🎶
