The Merry & Bright Market Application We are so excited to be bringing back The Merry & Bright Market again this year, in collaboration with the Children's Foundation of Guelph and Wellington (CFGW). This event will be hosted on Sunday, November 20th in the warehouse at 69 Huron St. which has been generously donated to us from The SEED....

I know, I know. Why post an "out of office" when you hardly ever post? 🤷‍♀️🙈

Well, I'm trying to resurrect myself and push creative juices back into my system. But on that note, I'm also taking some time OFF!

I'll be "out of office" this Thursday - Sunday as I travel out west to visit family, and then I'll be putting my shop on vacation mode from May 26 - June 15 inclusive for a big Ireland trip!

Looking forward to adventures and offline times ✌️ so, get those orders in now!

Did I decide against a sale this year? I sure did. Why? I'm prioritizing myself, and knowing that I'm over my capacity right now.

For those who might be new here, Ferox is my side hustle. I work full-time, and I love nothing more than having my own brand, building the relationships that I've created, and making products that make people happy.

But the reality? It's been a long, hard 20 months. We're all exhausted, burnt out, and just feeling a little...bleh. So instead of putting more stress on myself to try to fulfill MORE orders that come out of Black Friday, and to try and set unrealistic expectations for myself and customers - I said no.

Does that meant other makers doing sales are in the wrong? Absolutely not! For me - I'm overloaded and know that this is the right choice for me. I understand others have the capacity, the want and/or need to do these sales, and a lot really enjoy it. But this year, I'm putting me first.

What an incredible day!

Together yesterday we were able to raise just over $3,000 in support of Children's Foundation of Guelph and Wellington ✨

A big THANK YOU to everyone who showed up yesterday - vendors, shoppers, helpers, everyone! The day exceeded out expectations and was so wonderful!

We hope to be able to bring this back again next year - so stay tuned. You haven't heard the last from us yet! ❤️
