It was an enchanting afternoon indeed ♡

A little over a month ago, our guests showed up in their High Tea-best and truly exemplified what it meant to bring hope to grieving hearts, together.

We are still filled with immense gratitude, joy, and hope after the inaugural High Tea For Hope and cannot thank our event guests, donors, sponsors, speakers, staff, volunteers, partners and community at large enough for their support of The Nightingale Centre for Grieving Children, Youth and Families.

In case you missed it or want to relive the magic, here’s our recap!

“Itwas pretty helpful for me knowing there were other kids my age that lost their parents." Now, as a program facilitator for our children's group, Charlie extends that support to others on their grief journey. Our group programs offer a unique level of connection and understanding, fostering healing through shared experiences. We're grateful for community members like Charlie who give back in this meaningful way. High Tea for Hope 2024 is an opportunity to further this support, offering connection, emotional validation, and education about grief to promote healing for children, youth, and families. "It feels like home. A new home for us." After the loss of her husband, Karina and her children decided to come to The Nightingale Centre to help them deal with their grief. Through group sessions tailored for both adults and children, they've found a supportive community who understand exactly what they're going through. For Karina and her family, The Nightingale Centre has become a new home for them. Compassion. Connection. Community. Hope. This Family Day, we're thinking of the families that have trusted The Nightingale Centre to help them on their grief journey. In order to reach more families in Guelph and Wellington County, we are hosting The Nightingale Centre's inaugural fundraising event, High Tea for Hope, on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at Cutten Fields.
