We are very excited to announce that Coastal Care Veterinary Emergency & Referral Hospital is now open! As Nova Scotia`s first emergency & referral hospital we are incredibly proud of the hard work from our team that has lead to this moment.

We are located at 168 Hobson Lake Dr. in Bayers Lake.

Our 24 hour emergency department is now accepting patients. If your pet is experiencing concerning symptoms, is unwell or experiencing an emergency, please phone (902) 703-2323 - extension 9, to speak with one of our Customer Care Representatives.

Our specialty referral services also get underway today, with their pre-booked referral appointments. All initial specialty cases must come by referral from your family veterinarian, we cannot accept self-referrals. If you have already had an initial consult with one of our specialists and require a recheck from your last appointment, please phone (902) 703-2323 extension 2, to speak with our Referral Coordinator to arrange your booking.

We are excited to be able to help provide emergency and referral medicine to the pets of Nova Scotia and surrounding provinces.
