Hello! My name is Brett Hamilton, I’m the founder of A & B Dog Walking and Pet Services. I’m originally from Chester, Nova Scotia and now spend most of my time in and around Halifax. I’ve been a passionate animal lover all of my life so I decided to start a business caring for pets around HRM. Below is a list of services and prices along with packages we offer:

Standard Dog Walking:

We come to your home within the Halifax Regional Municipality and take your dog(s) on a 45-60 minute walk around the neighborhood. While giving them the exercise they need, we also work on leash training using positive reinforcement, treats included!

Pack Walks:

Offered to dog owners in the south end of Halifax, we take cohesive groups around Point Pleasant park for 1 hour, pick-up and drop off not included. Before being brought on, we will schedule an in-person consultation and take your dog(s) on a 15 minute walk to assess temperament, walkability, and reactivity toward other dogs as well as answer any questions you may have.

1 standard/ pack walk= $25
10 standard/pack walks= $230 (60 day expiry)
20 standard/walks= $400 (70 day expiry)

Stop-ins and Potty Breaks:

If you are away from your home for any reason and need to tend to your pets, we can stop by and make sure your dogs and other small animals are happy and cared for. This includes letting out, refilling of food & water, changing litter and watering plants if you need an extra hand. This typically takes 15-30 minutes.

Check-ins start at $15. Cost is based on location.

Pet Sitting:

If you have to leave for any length of time we also offer pet and plant sitting. During our consultation we will get your key from you and either check in throughout the day or stay in your home to ensure your pets remain happy and healthy while you're away. We promise to respect your privacy and send you daily updates. We also offer over night stays if you prefer your pet to stay with us.

Offered to residents of Halifax, Dartmouth, Tantallon/ Hubley and communities in between. We charge $60 a day. Prices go up slightly if you are outside of these areas or your pet requires full time supervision.
