“Change is the only constant,” they say…

It saddens us to share this unexpected twist in our journey with Bud the Spud but we will not be on Spring Garden this season. After nearly half a century of spuds shared in front of the old library, a blind bid managed by the city has led to a new tenant in our familiar spot. It’s hard to put into words the mix of emotions as we bid farewell to a location that’s not just a spot on the map, but a piece of Halifax’s culinary history - our truck’s heritage. Yet, if this journey has taught us anything, it’s that you must always be willing to adapt and innovate. We want to continue spreading the love for good food and while our wheels may be shifting, our commitment to serving you remains unwavering. Stay tuned as we embark on a new chapter and keep an eye out for our weekly schedule updates so you know where to find us! We’re still operating, just moving around the city a bit more😊❤️
