Lest we forget. I was invited this past Saturday to the grand opening held on Remembrance Day. We manufactured seven of these glass displays to showcase the authentic war artifacts donated by the community around Waterdown. The students of the history class research and present their findings and information on the artifacts. As well research about their families that were impacted by the war. It was such a neat event to visit and learn. The displays and artifacts can be seen throughout the year at the

Thank you to everyone who attended our Grand Opening Celebration today! With steady traffic all week leading up to today's event, we hoped for a good turnout, but it exceeded our expectations. The community support this past week has been incredible.
We have settled into our new home, and were happy to welcome Judi Luxon Partridge, Ted McMeekin Ward 15 Councillor, Andrea Horwath, Donna Skelly, Dan Muys, MP.

'So happy': Waterdown Museum of Hope opens at Waterdown Legion Waterdown District High School's student-run Waterdown Museum of Hope opens at Waterdown Legion on Remembrance Day, Nov. 11.
On our first-day opening last evening, the museum hosted the Business After Five. Thank you to the Waterdown BIA, Flamborough Chamber of Commerce, Merit Insurance, and the Waterdown Legion.
Wonderful to see familiar faces and former students as well. We will be open 5-8 pm until Friday. On Remembrance Day, please visit us after the service and attend our Grand Opening at 2 pm.

Students of Waterdown District High School, in collaboration with the Waterdown Legion, the Flamborough Chamber of Commerce and the Waterdown BIA invite you to a special pre-opening preview of the Waterdown Museum of Hope. This will be a unique and memorable BA5 connecting our communities to our past.

Waterdown Museum of Hope invites the community to our Grand Opening on Saturday, November 11th at 2 pm.
We are excited to welcome everyone to our new home at the Waterdown Legion. WDHS Semester 1 student projects will be on display as well as artifacts from our permanent collection.
In the days leading up to the Grand Opening, the museum will be hosting a soft launch from November 7-10, 5-8 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend on those nights, and our student guides will be on hand to guide attendees through the displays.
