Wharton Medical Clinic clinical trials offer a unique opportunity to be part of medical breakthroughs and innovations. We conduct clinical trials that test new medications and therapies for weight management, Type 2 diabetes, and cardiometabolic health.
These studies could include taking a medication to manage or treat a chronic condition. These trials often offer the opportunity to receive medications for medication conditions at no cost. Most trials, but not all, will include a placebo intervention arm as well. Patients should be prepared to discuss the possibility of receiving the placebo intervention.
By joining a clinical trial, you contribute to the development of new drugs, therapies, and medical approaches, that can positively impact the health of future generations.
Dr. Wharton is a primary author on publications for many of these trials. https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=4C3Th6oAAAAJ&hl=en
