In the OBA 16U AAA finals in Hamilton, it was a Tigers’ fight! In extra innings, Peterborough took the lead in the top of the 8th, 3-2 and held off Mississauga HPP to win the OBA’s with an undefeated record of 6-0. Congrats to both teams for a great final!Good luck to everyone on your baseball journey’s.

ICBA 18U Tier 1 Playoff Medal Round. Undefeated Simcoe Giants took 1st place and were crowned the champions with a 12-2 win over Waterloo Tigers. Great tournament for all the teams who participated. Thank you all for competing hard, while showing respect for the game. Until next time, yours in baseball!

Hard hit ball in game #1 of the 18U ICBA Tier 1 playoffs. Ball hit so hard it made it flat on one side. 7 seed Stratford ended up winning that game over the 6 seed Kitchener 9-3.

Registration is now open for our 2025 Hamilton Cardinals Elite teams! In 2025 we will expand our Elite program to three teams (15U, 16U & 18U). The 15U team has its first tryout on August 7th. Registration must be done online prior to attending.

Out Fielder Tyler Duncan #5, from Sooke, BC was drafted by Seattle Mariners in the 2016 MLB Draft. Played at Arkansas State. First ever Hamilton Cardinal to win the league MVP as he won the award this year in 2023. He also won the home run title in the league and was a first-team All-Star. Set franchise records for the Cardinals in HRs and RBIs. Now resides in Hamilton.

Hitting & Fielding Instructor

Aidan Muir #45, from Ancaster, ON played baseball at Brock University. Currently runs lessons at StrikeZone and privately for a number of teams. Aidan has caught for both the Cardinals and the Brantford Red Sox in the IBL. Aidan had one of our two walk-offs this past season as he walked off the defending champions the London Majors.
