It was a Daddy/Daughter snow day today so we took the opportunity to go a visit some of our amazing sponsors to say thanks and to spread some Christmas cheer!! We still have a few to visit and we hope to get to them soon. It was a great day.

Well a bit of an up and down night tonight!!! First of all I want to say that Morgan is fine and at home. I want to thank the entire staff at Sunset Speedway for their quick response to attend to Morgan after she hit the wall in turn 4. Also to every single person that sent me messages or stopped by to check in on her thank you!!
Well now that you know how our night ended, she ran really well all night. I think we started with 18 cars in our field, which was awesome to see. We only got one set of heat races due to the pending rain. She finished 3rd in her heat which was amazing!! She started 6th in the feature and was running well until a caution came out and she got hit from behind breaking the exhaust. Starting from the back of the pack, she drove her heart out and got back up to 8th, she drove it into turn 4 a little to hard and hit the Keegan bump ( sorry Keegan lol) which caused her to back it into the inside wall. She banged her head around a little and the ambulance was called out to attend to her. But again she is fine!! I am so proud of everything she has accomplished this year and this was also a part of the learning curve. We will fix the car and head to Peterborough for Autumn Colours where we hope the outcome is much better!! Again thank you all for your concerns and thank you to Ladies of the Oval for posting this post so quickly to let everyone know that she was ok!!

Morgan Moore is still smiling after a hard hit in her feature race. She's got a couple bumps and soon to be bruises but is in good spirits. We're so happy she's ok 💕

Here it is, our final schedule of the 2023 season at Sunset Speedway!! Please note the early start times. I hope you can all join us for this historical event!!!

Well, this might be a little long!
This past weekend was our final points night in the 2023 championship for the Jr Late Models at Sunset Speedway and what a night it was!! First and foremost we have to send out a huge thank you to Brian and Sandra Todish and the entire staff at Sunset for not giving up on us!! We are so thankful that you allow us to have this much fun every week!!
A big shout out to our 2023 CHAMPION, our teammate and our friend, Keegan Moat and his whole Mini Moat Racing team!! You ran your heart out all year Keegan and you deserve it bud we are super proud of you!!!
Even though Keegan made it very interesting for us in the final race, actually giving Morgan a shot at the championship, Morgan finished 2nd overall and we couldn’t be more proud of her and all that she has accomplished this season!! She won her very first heat race earlier this year at Peterborough, she finished a career high 2nd in a feature at Sunset, she has knocked off almost 5 seconds from her lap times from where she started at the beginning of the season right up to Saturday night when she ran her fastest lap yet at a 20.370! She has been so consistent all year, staying clean and out of trouble for the most part, she has learned to control the car, pass at appropriate times, massive improvements on restarts, and she has learned to be competitive!!
We really want to thank a bunch of people that deserve as much of this accomplishment as Morgan does, so to our team, Tim Crawford, Sam Moore Sr (Augh) June Moore (Granny), Darren Tyo, Randy Gray, Laurel Thomas (Mommy) and Ireland Moore (sister) without you all none of this is possible and definitely not as fun!! Morgan and I are truly thankful to you all for your dedication and support. Thank you!!!
For everyone that offers Morgan praise and encouragement, from friends like Keegan Moat, Lori Ann Moat, George Moat, Jordan Ho, and baby Hailey!! We are excited for Imagewraps.ca to present The New School 20 along with Homeland Auto Service, Canadian Car Care and Toronto Insulation with the largest payout for Junior Late Models to date.

We want to take this time to acknowledge that the only engine allowed for 2023 is the Honda GX270 at Sunset Speedway for this coming Saturday and The New School 20. If you have any technical questions feel free to reach out to our tech department for any clarifications.

We had another great night last night. Morgan finished 3rd in her first heat 2nd in the second heat and 2nd in the feature!!! She even had some fans in the stands that brought signs with them!!! Got some sweet new sweaters from Dan Bailey and Epic Racewear With only one points race left to n the season, Morgan can finish no worse than second in the standings!!! We are so happy for her and what she has accomplished!! Just remember little bug. Always be humble and kind and be fast!!! It was another great night at Sunset Speedway this past Saturday night. Again we wish the car count was better but we made the best of it!! Morgan finished 3rd in both of her heats and in the feature! She is consistently improving with every lap. We are getting really close to breaking into the teens with her lap times. Running her best so far at a 20.538. We are so proud of how much she has improved this season. With only two points races left in our season she is currently 2nd in the overall standings and only about 40 points behind our friend Keegan Moat and his Mini Moat Racing team!! We are also proud to be apart of a couple of very special races in the next few weeks that we have been able to sponsor and support!! This weekend Morgan has donated $111 to the Allan Lankin Cup for the 11th place finisher of this special event!! We will be once again apart of the Fall Velocity sponsorship for our Jr. Late Models final race of the year at Sunset Speedway!! Details of this event will be posted soon but I can tell you this, if you are part of the Jr Late Model program, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO WANT TO MISS THIS RACE!!

One of our youngest competitors has stepped up again! Every event we have had this year Morgan Moore and Shenanigans Motorsports have gotten involved.

For The Allan Lankin Cup Morgan and her team have put up $111 to the 11th place points finisher meaning 11th will pay $311!!!

Thanks to Morgan, her family and team for being amazing ambassadors of not only Sunset but the whole sport.

What an awesome time at Fan Appreciation Night!! First we need to thank Brian and Sandra Todish and their amazing staff at Sunset Speedway for putting on an incredible event!! Once the rains cleared they were full blown business to give everyone an awesome show!!

We had a great time and met some amazing people that were so eager to get a autograph or a picture with Morgan!! Even though it was too busy for Keegan to wash Morgan’s car because of a bet he lost, he did follow through with another bet that he lost and got his hair cut!!!! I am not much of a barber but he took it like the champ he will be!! Thanks to his team, especially his mom Lori-Ann Moat for not killing me!!!!

Overall. A+ weekend!! We will make some adjustments before the next event and we will be ready to go!!
