A beautiful impromptu moment started by the youth yesterday at the last evening event of Inuvialuit Piuyausiat 2023 Youth Northern Games! An Arctic Inspiration Prize youth category-winning event! The Northern Games Society board and volunteer committee is overwhelmed with the success of the Northern Games, and the positivity and community that has been built here this week with the next generation of athletes. Yes they really did change the world! We look forward to hosting another Youth Northern Games, and continue the legacy that was begun so many years ago by our Elders.
