Budget: $1500.00 Included was new linens and pillows for all beds, new curtains and rods, coffee table, fireplace, 8 fake plants potted, lamps, 2 side tables, large wooden frames mirror, new wall sconces, new wall decor, table runner, placemats, table decor, candles, tea caddy, cream and sugar holders, coffee signage, kitchen essentials, stoneware, baking sheets, toddler dishes and cutlery, high chair, booster seat, potty, games, throw pillows and blanket, duvets and duvet covers, new shower curtains and liners, new toilet bowl scrubbers, new towels, floor mats, and the list goes on and on. More importantly, I provided a new description for their Airbnb listing to include summer and winter attractions and I also provided a binder with pertinent information regarding the home and their stay. I put menus from local restaurants, maps for hiking, cycling, snowmobiling, and local attractions. I provided a guest book as well as feedback is imperative in this business. All in all the clients were thrilled!
Ok folks it’s been a short bit since my last post but we have been very busy reorganizing and remodelling an Airbnb for a client. My budget was $1500 (I went over a few hundred) and boy did I stretch that to the limit!! The deep clean and repairs took Matt and I 4 solid days! Walls, windows, trim, casing, all furniture, bathrooms, bedrooms and the kitchen. What an overhaul! Here is the before photo which does not reflect the amount of grime dust and mouse droppings in this winterized cottage - be sure to check out the after post coming next!
