Doc(k) series episode 2, hosted by the dynamic duo of Lambo & Mich w/special guest Rene Bourque, who is an absolutely solid dude we might add. They talk hockey, life after hockey, and the importance of the relationship with your financial advisor.

Our client & the team came up with the idea for the doc(k) series.

The series is interviews with some of their clients that are current or retired NHL players, to shed some light on their careers and how they are or have already prepared for their life after hockey.

Here is a glimpse into the life of our client Dale Lamb, showing what life is like outside of the DKL office.

We had an absolutely great time spending a couple of days with him shredding up at Big White.

The legs hurt afterwards, especially Hardo’s after a 6 year hiatus from skiing and the core took a bit of a beating from all the laughs we had.

Thanks Dale for the great hospitality. We look forward to doing a lot more of that. It was awesome to see what you work so hard for.

Here is the story behind the making of Alex Kwong’s most recent masterpiece.

It’s a mural that was designed to inspire the kids of Genesis Basketball, now and into the future, to be great on and off the court. We hope that this will also inspire artists out there to follow their path of creation, no matter what that is, and show the world what they too can create.

A big thank you to you, Alex Kwong, for allowing us to come into your creative space to document the entire process. You have inspired us to be courageous and authentic in our own creative process.

Thank you to Eddie Richardson for allowing us all into The Lab to document the whole process. This is where it all started and you have helped inspire so many youth in the Calgary community so thank you. It inspires us to give back to our communities.

We took some time away in Rocky Mountains near Golden to reflect and recharge. During this time we decided that we wanted to make a content piece that 1 - tells a little story about how we came together and 2 - shows the type of content we love to produce.

We had a lot of fun creating this piece and learned a lot through the process.
