ELASTICS/RUBBER BANDS 101 👇 What are the rules for wearing your elastics? Your elastics must be worn 24 hours/day unless instructed otherwise by your provider. Constant wear of your elastics is essential for your treatment! It is ultimately your responsibility, and we are here to coach you through this process. You should take your elastics off only to eat or if brushing your teeth. You may experience a bit of tooth discomfort at first, but the soreness will disappear. Take pain relievers such as Advil or Tylenol if needed. Make sure you have enough elastics and feel free to call our office if you need more!
