this is not a business, it is solely so i can share some of the cakes i have been able to create.
Loved making this cake for a special 5 year old! A vanilla cake with cookies and cream mousse in the little cake and a vanilla mousse in the bigger cake.
My favorite twins 5th birthday!! I didn't post these earlier, mainly because I forgot to get pictures... as per usual!
There was a funfetti cake and a vanilla cake! I love these 2 and am so glad I have gotten the opportunity to make a few of their birthday cakes!!!
I also forgot to post the plants vs zombies cake for when my littlest little turned 5!
My biggest little turns 9 this week, he asked for a harry potter themed cake, with specific flavours.
So here is his Harry Potter cake, it is a chocolate cake with a butterscotch mousse, a layer of caramel, and some chocolate crunch pieces for the filling.

Before I forget to add these photos... this is how Derek's 'simple' cake turned out... we brought the cake to a mug out and gave the cupcakes to the amazing staff brewing.
It's husband's birthday this week... he normally gets a fairly extravagant cake that he brings into work... but this year he wanted something smaller as he works with less people than he used to.
I of course will oblige him, because it's his birthday.
So here is the start... Guinness chocolate cakes and cupcakes.
Some give away macarons were made this week!
Tiramisu and creme bruleé were the flavours of the week.
A Rōblox cake for an awesome kid.

So I wasn't going to make anything during the school year ....it is just added stress... but... then I met a lovely couple who's baker had to cancel on them.... so I made their wedding cake for them.
They wanted a simple design to go on a chocolate cake with bavarian cream filling and swiss meringue butter cream.
As usual I forgot to take pictures but received some from the bride once their toppers were on the cake!
Finals start tomorrow... I needed a study break and some de-stressing so I finished the macarons... apple pie and gingerbread. They turned out pretty good.
Also I'm loving these new containers!
It's been 5 months.... after the move we hit the ground running with our new adventure...
I finally pulled out my mixer today (Finals start on Monday so I needed to bake away the stress)
Apple pie macarons are underway... not sure how they will turn out with the change in humidity... but baking in this kitchen sure is nice.

And the other cake I've neglected posting.
L had an early 8th birthday, he doesn't make friends super easy because he is shy.... until he is comfortable, and then he talks non-stop. So with us moving across the country soon we thought it would be good to celebrate early with the friends he has made.
He requested a chocolate, vanilla and caramel cake. I didn't let him choose the design this time. His birthday was a video game theme... so I picked his 2 favorite games and made a cake.
A birthday cake from last week that I forgot to post!
Funfetti and cheetah print inside and a cheetah print outside for a wonderfully wild child 7 year old!
Some special sugar cookies and treats for L's teachers. We've never known a school year without COVID and I am constantly amazed by every teacher the L has had. They never seem to be frazzled, even while trying to keep kids calm and teach in a pandemic.
This is true for all of the teachers we have had from kindergarten through grade 2. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for the amazing job you are doing! 🍎

Okay so here is the tattoo inspired cake and cookies for the best husband in the world.
This guy would move mountains for me if I let him, he not only supports all of my dreams, he is right by my side cheering me on.
This isn't as elaborate looking as a few of the other cakes I've done for him... But it was just as time consuming with all the painting.

Teachers do so much and are often the forgotten heroes in our lives. This year they created distance learning lesson plans on the fly and helped bolster our kids, quarantine after quarantine.... And oh so much more!!! From the daycare teachers (yes, they are teachers), to the homeschool teachers to the university level professors doing everything you can to pass on knowledge, please know that you are appreciated and applauded.
