Our STEER-themed running event will begin with the Baby Bull (for children 5 and under) 200m run at 9:00 AM, followed by the Miniature Matador (for children ages 6 to 12) 1K run at 9:15 AM, and concluding with the main event, the FULL 5K Running of the Steers at 10:00 AM.
We have a variety of exciting activities planned to ensure you and your family create unforgettable memories together. From the Kingston Fire Hall's iconic water sprinkler to community cheering squads, post-run refreshments, and our signature "Red Steer Bandanas," there's something for everyone to enjoy.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the decision has been made to cancel the firefighter challenge. Instead, the Kingston Fire Department will be having a truck display, a vehicle extrication demo, and sprinkler fun time!

Date & Time: July 12th, 9am shotgun start
Location: Paragon Golf & Country Club

Registration fee is $340 / 4 person team, meal included. Pre-payment is required. Cart reservations are separate through Paragon. Registration forms can be found on the Village of Kingston website https://www.kingstonnovascotia.ca.

GOLF TOURNAMENT RAFFLE PRIZES

Every team that participated in the tournament was entered to win prizes from a random draw. The three teams that won prizes are:

The Village of Kingston held its 1st Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, July 7th, 2023. The 4-person best ball scramble was won by Team Oaken Barrel with an impressive score of -15. Congratulations on a well played round.

Team Oaken Barrel players were: Dean Mrkic, Cody Locke, Brian Naugle, Dan Munden

The tournament also held a competition for the longest drive on hole #1. Nick Bent had the overall longest drive of the day competing in a group of 120 players.

Congratulations to Nick on his achievement.
