I get asked a lot of questions like “How do I just let this go?” “Why can’t I just get over this?” “When will this be over?” and the anxiety in the room is palpable. I can feel the fear in the room, but it isn’t the fear you may expect. Often times these clients aren’t really worried that whatever hurt they are experiencing will continue on but rather they are afraid to fully feel their emotions in the first place. They want to skip to the ending, skip to the healing and find relief. But what we find is that when we sit with those tender feelings (the ones they were working overtime to avoid) and meet them with acceptance and loving compassion, after they’ve been felt and acknowledged, they soften, they step back and the relief is there. Emotions want to move and flow. Let’s learn to let them.

The holidays can be an extremely difficult and sensitive time for many people. I've created this seasonal offering to help you survive & thrive the holidays. All through December and January I will be offering single session therapy. This means that you can get support without having to sign up for or commit to long term therapy. These sessions are 90 minutes long and give you an opportunity to check in, vent, create a plan to help you move forward and get support around what matters most to you right now.
Single session therapy is amazing for people who are not interested in starting short or long term therapy. The relaxed, single session format allows mental health support to be more accessible and less intimidating.
I love doing single session therapy. It has a really unique energy and it is really amazing to see how much can be accomplished in such a short period of time.

Inhale for the length of four counts...

Pause and embrace stillness for four counts...
