These ornaments took some trial and error, and that made the end result so much better! I was so happy to make these ornaments for this wonderful group of friends!

Continuing the theme of decorating my own house...

I've been wanting to make something like this for a while, and decided this would be a perfect next piece! There is a lot of cooking and baking that goes on in my kitchen, and I decided the perfect next piece of decor would be something that has purpose, but is also super cute!

If you bake a lot, you'll know that recipes tend to come in many different measurements, and you can spend a lot of time looking up what those conversions are... this chart should hopefully take away some of the looking up time, and let me spend that time baking instead 😊

Life is What You Bake It!

My niece was over this weekend, and she asked me where all my projects were, and it made me realize that I like creating for everyone else so much that I very rarely create for myself. So this morning I decided to finish this decorative cutting board that I had been trying to figure out what to do with.

I love to bake, so I thought a baking theme would be the perfect way to go! And the addition of the bow fits in perfectly with our decor!

I made this one for my niece's 8th birthday, and I can't wait to give it to her this weekend!

The pink, purple and blue add the perfect pop of colour to the mane, while the glitter on the horn and stars adds the perfect amount of sparkle! 🦄

Who else here is a Yellowstone fan?!?! Or maybe, more specifically, a fan of Rip?

My sister sent me this idea, and I knew at that exact moment I was going to make us our first matching item since sometime in the 90's.

I'm super happy with how these turned out and will be drinking sometime very soon out of this insulated wine tumbler!

Last Christmas themed item, I promise!

We decided to make a bit of a change to one of the regular Christmas door hangers and made this one for my mother in law! As with the blue and Grey sign, I love how the strip of colour allows you to see so much of wood and grain around it, while adding a pop of colour that is brought in again with the bow and greenery!

I made this one for my Gramma, and for me this was a super easy one to design, I knew I wanted the sign to have a touch of pink with white text and the bow to have some type of Lace ribbon 😊 I'm so happy with the design and how it came together!

I love this one and how it turned out, we made this one for my husband's uncles, and it came together so perfectly! I love how the slate grey against the wood background goes perfectly together, and then let's the white text stand out perfectly!

I made this one for my sister and her boyfriend for Christmas - they loved it, I'm so glad because I do too!

What I love about being able to create my own gifts and designing these signs is that I can personalize them in so many ways - from the colours, to the sayings, to the finishing touches - its a lot of fun!

I decided to continue with the rounds for some of my Christmas gifts this year, and I'm so glad I did!

I made this one for my parents, and they loved it! Don't get me wrong, my sister and I know our parents want to see us, but we know they REALLY want to see our kids! Lol

When deciding to make the door hangers as a more year-round sign, I decided to go with a thicker wood and also a little bit larger of a sign. I love how this one turned out!

I took a bit of a break from posting prior to and over the holidays to spend some time with my family, but also, so I could get some of my personal projects done! Over the next few days, I'll be posting a few of my creations 😊

This is a personalized Santa Treat board! I loved having the board actually say the boys' names. It makes it feel so special, and I'm so excited that we added this to our Christmas traditions ❤️

Remember all those bows I posted the other day? I used them to make some different variations of one of the Merry Christmas signs!

I love the original, but also love these too, the simplicity of the black background and white text really allows for the bow to pop with any ribbon you choose.

I love how this one turned out - the Jacobean stain I used on this piece is one of my favorites. Another thing I love about this piece though, is that it's a great example to show anything can be customized to fit your style and personality. The original sign included paddles, but this time a castle was used instead!

The Grinch is such a classic, its a fantastic story and it also just happens to be pretty high on my list of favorite Christmas movies. So when I was asked to make this sign, I got pretty excited!

I am so happy with how this one turned out, it's another project where I really liked how this looked in the design stages, but once it fully came together on the board, I was in love!

I second guessed this design right up until the minute I put the text on the sign - I wasn't sure about the blue and grey, even though I love both of those colors, it just wasn't screaming Christmas to me. But the minute I put those letters on this sign, I was so happy I decided to stay the course! The text is simple, the design has a modern flair, and the simplicity allowed me to dress the sign up just a little with the bow and greenery. To say the least, im in love with this design 😍

I've been dying to post this one since I finished it yesterday afternoon - but was able to contain myself... barely! I went from being unsure about the bow and greenery while creating this - to loving this one the minute all was put together and hung on the wall.

Let it Snow!

I have to be honest it feels strange to post a sign like this on such a beautiful day, but I love it so much, i couldn't wait! The stain used on this sign is my favorite - the color is just dark enough, but it still let's the grain of the wood come through perfectly. The color of the background also let's the white lettering, silver snowflakes and triple bow stand out perfectly!

I'm trying out something new this year - Christmas door hangers! I have a couple designs on the go, but wanted to share the first one. Continuing on with the projects I've been meaning to complete - these glass canister labels! I love to bake and cook, and I've been spending a lot of time in the kitchen lately... so its been really important for me to organize the space. Once the spice jars were done, I couldn't wait to get these finished as well, and im really happy with how they turned out! I initially planned to use the same design as I had used on the spice jars, but realized that a white font on the flour and sugar would be pretty pointless, so I decided to go with just the gold instead, and while it's only been an hour, I think I made the right choice! What do you think???

Hey Guys, it's been a while!

I've really missed crafting and creating, but sometimes life happens! Literally, life... in November we welcomed Briggs, the newest member of our family who decided to make his debut a liiiiiiitle early! It's taken some time to adjust to being a mom of 2 and I'm slowly getting back to creating by way of making some small projects that I've been meaning to do for months to spruce up our house!

My first project was these spice jars! I had already done some a while ago for a few spices, but after seeing how handy these jars are, I recently ordered some more and started customizing! I'm so happy with how these turned out, and having my spices all nicely labeled makes cooking so much easier, and a little quicker too!
