Day 1: Copper Club, complete! 👩‍🦰👨‍🦲It was a full day. We managed to draw every single one of our murals onto each of the floors - P1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 (10 floors total, plus parking level). Floor 10 is getting something a little extra fancy! We always overcome several challenges during this part of the process, including confirming wall placement and aligning to existing fixtures and features of the copper-filled community hallways. ☀️ We always enjoy overcoming this part of the process and we’re very happy with where we ended up today. We also met some of the @the_metalworks neighbors! And they are always excited about what will end up on their walls. 👌 This week, we begin our next @the_metalworks condo tower community series with the fine folks of Fusion Homes! Yesterday, we had our custom paints mixed up to perfectly match the carpets and art deco-inspired copper interiors. Today, trial and testing on our “fake” wall sample to choose our @princetonbrush brushes and other bits of the application painting process. In his latest digital illustration, Steve completed a portrait of our incredible 13-year-old dog "Link," an all-white, Siberian Husky named after the Legends of Zelda. In this portrait, Steve wanted to capture the way Link looks up at us while on his daily walks. His big, blue, trust-filled eyes always make us smile.

Leo the Lion is today’s featured @Pellvetica art print! 🦁 The male lion is a species in the family Felidae and a member of the genus Panthera. He has a muscular, deep-chested body, short, rounded head, round ears, and a hairy tuft at the end of his tail. As a social species, lions form groups called prides. A lion's pride consists of a few adult males, related females and cubs. Steve Pell of Pellvetica independently illustrated this male lion.
